Recommended Posts

I was at a game with the ex-Chairman of Hertford Town last night.

Well that narrows it down to about 20 people!

Who is the lady that inputs the results and scorers on to mitoo?

That's me - was it you I was standing next to in the 2nd half?

really nice to meet you, hopefully catch you again soon.

I did think about asking if you were monkey, but if you weren't you would have thought I was mad.

I've not been to Aston Clinton yet - hope to visit sometime this season, see you again then maybe.

Just to set the record straight. I joined Aston Clinton in pre season as I had moved to the area and Malcolm needed some help, Gavin also joined as Coach. Malcolm was the driving force behind the side and being the local man, he made some excellent signings pre season and going forward. On the same weekend that I moved away from Aston due to personal changes in my life, Malcolm decided that he no longer required my assistance and we parted company. Aston have a great squad and an excellent Chairman and deserve all the success they are having as the lads have worked very hard in pre season. Malcolm is an enthusiastic and dedicated Manager who has and will guide Aston well. So, Rhodesworld , is exactly that. Hope that clears that up

I had been invited by my friend Adam Fisher to join him at Codicote pre season, but after I had moved to Aston. Having got back in touch I joined up with them to help the Club move up the leagues. For those of you who don't know, they play in the Premier Div of the HERTS Senior County League , which feeds into Spartan Div 1 and is a good standard with the top clubs comparable to the Spartan Div 1. Lack of floodlighys are the main reason the Champions do not go up. However with hot favourites London Lions ground sharing at St Albans Cities ground, this will probably change. We are also ground sharing at Hertford F.C. whils we await the final permissions to errect floodlights at our home ground, which has a pitch and facilities comparable and better than alot of Spartan Prem sides.

Cheers
