Chances v Wealdstone ?

Would'nt it be just great to have a run in a worthwhile cup for once .

Yet another tough game (and probably last first team game for three weeks ).(it'll be like the close season all ove again )

Anything can happen in a two horse race, but not personally holding out alot of hope for a good result on saturday just the same.

Chances? They have to be created and taken..... Hmmm, tough call v Wealdstone. I fear they are too strong for us, but i'm ever the optomist. There's every chance we can cause an upset, i just can't see how at this moment in time. Apart from Wealdstone imploding with smug casualness then we can nick it!

Unfortunately & unlike in days gone by we dont have cup runs now do we? Sorry chaps, but we'll get beat 3 or 4 nil on Saturday. :frown:

The league matters more to me it really does. A cup victory would be a bonus of course it would but again I honestly can't see it happening.

I certainly wouldn't be too distressed should we lose out here. However & despite the above I'll still be cheering the guys on from home nevertheless.

I honestly think it depends on which Margate team turns up. If the strangers turn up, yes I can see us losing, but if the team that want to win and keep playing from whistle to whistle turn up I think we can hold our own against any team in this league, so we may well win. This is the optomistic me praying for the team that wants to play turning up lol.

isnt it amazing how quickly fans lose faith. This time last week we were looking at being capable of overturning Canvey, one bad performance and everybody is sayiny we have no chance this week. I know football fans can be fickle but COME ON. A little faith in the club please.

Well I never thought we were going to get a result at Canvey. In fact, on the morning of the game, Porka and I were both predicting 3-0 defeats. And I never expected anything tomorrow, as soon as I saw the draw. Last week's performance hardly helped that view.
