New Signing For Windsor

Windsor Rebel

Recommended Posts

Looks promising, Osobu's scored 4 times in the last 3 games for them. Hope he combines well with Chenns - he's suffered so much by having to play from deep and being heavily marked, if we've got two strikers with real pace up front other teams won't be able to concentrate on either so heavily.

I can understand why he'd want to move from Beaconsfield but it's not looking good for them now. Feel a bit sorry for them, though...

p.s. I wonder when we'll see Richardson playing for us again... I suppose he'll stay on our books, though, unless we go down to just 3 strikers.

A little more detail, from the Observer this time.

The 20-year-old forward followed Joe Mitchell to Holloways Park from AFC Hayes during the summer where he netted 17 times last season.

...

[scott said] "He reminds me of Bradley Bubb two years ago when I saw him at Chalfont St Peter but he is quicker than Bradley. He gives us pace up front and a goal threat.

My only fear is... remember when Jermaine Roche joined us briefly? Another fast forward, he'd been great at Marlow (and was when he returned to them as well) but just never seemed to gel at Windsor, one goal from 16 starts/5 subs. Mind you, that was back in the Lane days...

Good signing for you guys. Scored a few goals this season, although when I have seen him play it's been wide left rather than up-front.

Speaking to Keith at our Mangotsfield game a few weeks back he said he was after a striker as that's all he felt he needed, but expected someone like Yash Romeo rather than Osobu, but is a decent player and should do well for you if he can handle the step-up from 80 crowds to 130 crowds [waits and sees if anyone bites :biglaugh: ].

Believe me he is a class above and what we need to push for the title.

That'd be perfect, a quality striker who's at his best in front of ~100-120 fans but isn't sure about playing in the big leagues with regular 200+ crowds... he could stay with us for ages dance%20%282%29.gif

I'm sure with a bit of practice he'd raise his game when you come along with 50-65 extra for a derby... :)

Why do posts aimed at Slough by windsor and Windsor by slough always turn into crowd size rows? Can't we stick to how Awful a town Slough is? At least we'll win that one by miles. And if you dont agree...Just ask Hovis what he see's in his job!!

Oh and i cannot wait to see Victor make his debut for us. With a name like that he's got to be a winner!
