I see they have puled out of the league arnt there others that wanted to move leagues as well ? how many teams are there going to be in the league when it starts

I'm sure there's plenty of teams in the Essex Intermediate who can make the step up- I keep reading about Bishops Stortfors Swifts on the nonleaguedaily site.

 

As usual it comes down to over the top ground grading rules, and players wanting too much...

As far as I am aware all the clubs in the ESL want to change leagues.

 

We all want to go up a league. That is the idea of league football. Maybe a certain chairman hasn't got the hang of that?

 

I gather that 4 clubs applied to join the ESL and only SW wanted to move sideways, for their own reasons.

 

Personally I will sorry to see SW go, it is a lovely ground and good fun, and we usually have a good game with them.

SW have resigned and will play friendlies for a year, and will apply to the Jewsons for the following year.
