I cant realistically see him wanting more than T.Y or Big Nev. A proven non league manager if the club decide not to go with Big Nev.

It says on the W.U. web site that he was frustrated that his ambition for the Club wasn't matched by financial support from the Board. I think he is the calibre of Manager we should be looking at, he has a proven record in Local Non-League football & if he hasn't applied for the job (which, as Alan says, is probably the case) we should approach him ..sooner rather than later.

Would be great to have Andy Ford but even with the new board i think he may cost more than we can afford , but a good stern test for the new directors would they dip into there pockets and install a proven manager with a wealth of experience or will they take on a lower caliber manager and make slow steady progress .

Understand what you're saying Steve, but that 'rule' would surely only be applicable if the job had been advertised (which I understand it hasn't) and if he wasn't in a job when it was advertised (he was in a job when the position became available). Perhaps now his application is in the post.

Of course Terry was paid well but how can i explain without upsetting anyone here goes. Partly to do with who Terry is made his wage up but TY did not have massive non league experience so in a way his name paid his wage ( if your reading Terry no offence to you ) with Andy Ford your paying for his name but a WEALTH of non league experience comes with it . Terry has laid the foundations and thats what he has been very very good at now let someone like Ford take the helm and move MFC up the league .
