League Cup draw: Lowestoft handed revenge chance 14:00 12 Oct 09 RYMAN League newcomers Lowestoft Town have been handed the chance to avenge their only defeat of the season.

 

The draw for the second round of the Isthmian League Cup, sponsored by Championship Manager, gives the Suffolk club a home tie against Division One North rivals Ilford, who pulled off a 1-0 victory there back on August 22.

 

The regionalised draw has produced a number of intriguing local derbies. Heybridge Swifts host near-neighbours Maldon Town, Worthing entertain old rivals Bognor and Walton Casuals welcome Kingstonian. Holders Tilbury travel into Kent to meet Ashford Town.
