Early Season Predictions

Recommended Posts

There were some decent predictions amongst the above posts, it was always going to be an Aylesbury Chalfont St Peter one two in the Premier Division, Holmer Green in the First Division and Berkhamsted in the Second Division after Paul Tompkins severed ties with Aston Clinton

stupid.gifOf course I went back begging, a job that pays £50k a week wouldn't you? And as for Paul, the players that came down with him were not good enough compared to the players that I had simple as that. Nothing more to say about the matter now as the season is over and the team had a great season.

Love the game- Looks like you have a little chip on your shoulder were you one of the players that were not good enough to play in the Aston team? Talc has always been Manager since he took over last season so get your facts right.

Horace - Being someone who is heavily involved in the Hertfordshire Senior County League, how do you explain Codicote's meteoric rise then since Paul Tompkins joined them

JOJO- I have never played or wanted to play for a club that play that low down the leagues (plus they are miles from my house) and i have not been playing for a couple of years now plus i'm on the otherside of the white line shouting at players now...I know PT from playing for him at a HIGHER levels at different clubs, he has always been a good coach and i think had he been allowed to have full control over at Ashton then the season just might have ended with sliverware.

As for Talc always being at the club this year you need to get your facts right as you posted a while ago he had to step down as manager due to work reasons!!!!!!!!!!!! Which i know for a fact is true and i also know for a fact HE went back to the chairman asking for his job back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But did not get it back so he became the Asst Manager.....so JOJO give it a rest and check your own posts before making school boy errors.

Love the game- I think I may not have explained myself properly, I do apologise!! What I meant was that, Talc in our opinion has always been manager he left for 3 games and still let everyone know when and where to meet for them matches plus he still took training. PT didn't in our opinion add anything to the team while he was here and that's it if he's happy where he is now that good. I also must be a little confused as PT hasn't managed much higher then reserve football, so you obviously have played at this, as you call it low level but to be honest I don't care.

Oh and finally we are hoping that Talc carries on as Manager next season but we will have to wait and see. On this note I'm finished on this forum as it always seems to end up in a bitching session so I can't wait to get back playing at a lower level of football beating Premier teams again.
