LATO - I understand Erith & Belvedere played much of the game with ten men but, as you say, it was a good win which has probably saved Tom Loizou's job

Maybe, unlike you, HTFCew has a family to care about.

Keeps - Will you be at Bowers & Pitsea v Stansted this evening, as it's a Mickey Mouse Essex Senior Cup game Baby Keeps may be given his opportunity.

HTFCew didn't put up the results on the Mitoo site until gone 11.00pm last night which I felt was a poor show

You should have looked on the main SSML forum - they were on there at 10.54 pm - just a couple of minutes after I got the email from Jim.

Rhodes, there is NO ONE involved in this forum, including yourself, who is more dedicated that HTFCew, and if she updated Mittoo at 11pm, it was because she only got the official results from the League then. And why is the London Senior Cup "prestigious" and the Essex Senior Cup "Mickey Mouse" ?

Horace - So how come I had all the results at my disposal before 10.00 other than the two London Senior Cup ties at Barking and Cockfosters that had gone into extra time

Rhodes, most of us are well aware that you have no life outside of posting on forums, that your family hardly recognise you so its no surprise that you are so anal about an hour here or there on the very odd ocassion.

Bully for you, you got the results posted a whole hour earlier last night. What do you want, a Blue Peter badge to go with your lemons?

Two points - Neither HTFCew or myself post results other than the official ones supplied by the SSMFL press secretary, Jim Bean. Secondly, you DID NOT have all the results other than the London Senior Cup extra time ones by 10pm. You posted a selected few, presumably because you had 'phoned the grounds.

Oi Rhodes you prestigious c**k. who gives a toss who gets the results first or not, you call people anorak's, it's better than been a peedo in a dirty old raincoat, and answer the simple question, why is the Essex Senior Trophy 'mickey mouse', is it because it reminds you of Tokynton Manor

Ref Off Ref - I've never been able to make you out since you started posting, have our paths ever crossed in person as I wasn't at the Recreation Ground when Kentish Town won 6-0 although I was when they won 3-2 the previous season, did you happen to visit Claremont Road when you lost comprehensively 3-0 in 2006/2007 or the Copthall Stadium on the first day of 2007/2008 and that 3-3 draw. You clearly have a vicious streak like Keeps but, unlike him, you can talk a lot of sense if you want to.

As for the London Senior Cup, historically it is the second most prestigious Cup competition in English football behind the FA Cup and the Essex Senior Trophy can't hold a candle to it.

For once you are right Rhodes, unlike you at times I can talk sense, as for cup competitions, a cup is a cup, if you reach the lowest of cup finals it is still a good day out for both teams, so to mock them is way off, if Tokynton say reached a cup final in a competiton that no one had ever heard of you wouldn't feel the passion of the day as your team takes to the field, behave, whether it's the FA Cup or Mickey Mouse cup in England ALL cup competitons have tradition.

Too true ref off ref

my lad played in a div 2 sunday league cup final at Harlow Town FC last season

a crowd off 200+ and for some of the players it was the first (and probably last) time they had played in a stadium instead of the usual park pitch

for them and their family and friends it was their version of the FA Cup final

Yam Yam, I agree, some players in there lives never get to play under floodlights or at a decent ground, if then they can reach a Final at a ground of recognition in front of their family and mates then to them it is the greatest cup competition of all time, irrespective of its name or title.

Like your son mine too still goes on about 2 competitons he played in a few years ago, the first and because of their status now was a midweek under 18 cup game at Histon where he saved a penalty, also that same season for his under 18 sunday youth team they played a Friday night under lights cup final at The National Hockey Stadium which at the time was the home ground of the MK Dons, so it don't matter what the competition is, for every player and official involved, it's a CUP FINAL.

Hopefully if Tokynton Manor reach a cup final this season or in future seasons then Rhodes will be honest enough to name it just a 'mickey mouse' cup of no great importance.
