Mangotsfield United v Slough Town

Good stuff. Last thing we want is extra time with Saturday in mind. Any ideas as to how well were playing Gary?

I agree, extra time and then a very long journey back afterwards would have meant some very tired players and staff for Thursday's training with a knock on to Saturday's match at Tooting

Does not matter about the performance too much after all our Tuesday night record apart from this season so far has been abysmal over the past 2-3 years. Great to see Harps and Fenton get a game and Chris Herron returning.

We've really missed our wingers over the last few weeks and have really grinded out results without them. Rumour was that Tyrone may be fit for Saturday at the home game on Sunday - be great to get him back if it's true and hopefully Herron is fit enough to start.

Brilliant, good to hear that we pulled off the win, well done lads. 10 games unbeaten in all competitions too! Looking forward to 2 real tests of our team on Saturday and Tuesday (whether that is Hitchin or Tooting).

Up the Rebels!

Terrible performance by both sides, but a win is a win. Don't think either side deserved it with too much long ball football on both sides and the game didn't really come alive until the final five minutes with a few end to end moments and thank goodness it didn't go to extra time!

Got the goal and some other footage which I will get online tomorrow.

The good news is that (according to the FA website) because we played the first game on a Sunday, the suspensions for O'Connor (3 games) and Fenton (1 game) do not kick in until the 18th, meaning that they are both available for the FA cup game, Hitchin/FA cup replay and for the Uxbridge trophy game. If we had played on the Saturday as normal they wouldve been suspended for the Uxbridge game.

I just typed out a massive reply here which somehow didn't get posted. In summary though, dire game apart from the last 15 minutes or so when both sides got the ball down and started to play football. We just about deserved it on chances created. Report will be up later.

Not the most inspiring of games, but still better than Sunday. Great to get a last minute winner for a change, can't remember the last time that happened. We ground out a result, and sometimes thats what a team has to do. Unbeaten since the first game of the season, can we get past Saturday?

Would love to agree BUT technically you can't be unbeaten from losing a match, so we're unbeaten from the Barton Rovers match. But I'd say our next 2 matches are our biggest 2 tests so far with Tooting & Mitcham United and Hitchin Town both away.

175 minutes of tedium, relieved only by the last 5 minutes and a scrappy 1-0 win. Last 5 only any good, as both teams suddenly realised extra time was looming and actually went for it. How craig did not score in the scramble few minutes earlier I have no idea, cleared out of six yard box about 6 or 7 times. Still as said earlier a win is a win, and over the last few years there have not been too many of them.

Although not playing well we are still grinding out results against some average teams.

Tooting, undoubtedly, will be our biggest test this season. They are 3rd in the Ryman Premier and have a forward pairing who are scoring goals for fun. To get a result on Saturday, I think, will take a monumental effort from the team.

Hitchin have no game this weekend and as such will strip a lot fresher than us and to get any sort of result will require another gritty performance from the team.

RR does Strip = start??

Hopefully we'll have both Sealey and Herron in the squad on Saturday. I think we'd all be very happy with a draw and a second chance at Holloways Park. The last 2 matches haven't seen us play our best which we'd need to against Tooting & Mitcham United. I also hope we'll have around 150 fans there and as Tooting average around 250 it could make all the difference.
