I apologise where not directly Margate related,but this stirred me a bit and maybe of interest to a few.

 

I had read that he had previously returne to canada, but had no idea he had encountered serious health problems and indeed was now recovered and back in the UK.

 

I hope he is getting fitter and fitter up at Ebbsfleet.

 

Now if we needed another central defender ......

Good luck To Ross Smith, always thought he was a decent defender. Its amazing how far some players can get without anyone knowing about theses problems.

Too true at least Ross's problem was spotted early enough to be corrected.

As Liam Daish says - some players aren't in it for the money ... Ross played for us when we were in the Conference South, when the Club was so strapped for cash players weren't getting paid from one month to another.

 

Ross was a great defender for us, wish him all the best in his resumed career at Ebbsfleet.
