At last Brian is showing that he has the balls to make changes, lets see if he can make the right ones.

I am sitting here wondering what sort of improvement I expect 9 days from now, am not sure what would make me happy. Three points or just a much improved performance? The pressure is on and Brian is now acting, just what would be enough to make us happy??

Hi BB, hope your trek went well and that you could keep up with Serge!!!!!! Well Done!!!!

I am pleased that Spencer has been released, Harrison deserves to start for a few games and this should

push him up the ladder. If Harrison does not live up to expectations (I think he will) Dave is decent enough to do the job.

Marvin looked a decent athlete to me, and defensively is not bad but his distribution was often very poor. I have been

very impressed with Scholesy (prefer him centre mid) and we now have our Macca back, so I don't think Marvin will be too missed.

I found Lawrence very frustrating, sometimes looking a world beater, then look more like a panel beater.

I don't like the fact that Joe Baker seems first choice. Billy is class and Joe Flack is a goal machine who always gives his best.

The 4-3-3 formation has not worked. Its time to change. I don't actually think the personnel is wrong, just the system.

I would like us to sign a decent Right Winger and go 4-4-2. (we have not had one since Paullllllll Abbott) lol.

Good news to see some action, bold statement and intentions, lets hope in brings a return of confidence.

I am wondering to which players Brian is referring to when he says they are' living on past reputations' its not the first time he has mentioned it?

I really agree with that. I just feel that presently we have a lack of speed or more to the point we need another outlet to our build up play. I just feel (and this is just my opinion) that teams who run at opposition are A) more threatening and more exciting to watch..I profess to be a fan of 4-4-2 formations...Good that the management are starting to address concerns..Interesting comments from Alan Smith the other night on telly..He talked about all these different formations that teams have used in the past, but interestingly the teams that have used a 4-4-2 formation are the ones who have scored the most goals.
