On Thursday, the younsters play Whistable away in the FA youth cup, Win this and they are one away from the big boys. Make a date, come along, give the Kids the support they deserve. Let us get a crowd together for them. Support them. I am told 200 watched the Crawley v Whitstable game.

Good luck to the boys, Would love to see us doing well in youth football, and I do believe we are at the moment, and a good run in the youth cup has got to be good for the lads confidence and the good of the team.

yes this is a important one,as ken said from the club the last time a youth side got through to the first round proper it was against west ham which featured joe cole at hartsdown,so it would great if we could get there again,so good luck boys i know you can do it,and good luck mark and aaron..so everybody down to whitstable on thursday 7.30 kick off to cheer them on..

Let's try and get a few people over there to watch the Youth Team in action. It would give them a good boost if there were a good few fans from Margate to cheer them on.

I'm going, as are Alan Bonner and Blueblood, I also believe that Bluegate Alan is going to try and get there on his way home from work.

I have room for a couple of people if you would like to go . . . PM me.

Away to Sutton possibly a week Tuesday. Draw for 1st round proper is on Monday.

Crowd was around a 100 in total.

From the Programme the team was from: Luke Prentice, Ben Johnson,Joe Hickman, Tom peachy, Joe Beech, Josh Winchcombe, Sam Paine, Danny Haine, Sammy Cliff, Dan Langiano, Marcus Potter, Joe Bull, Subs: Karl Lawrence, Ian Mead, Jordan Wells and Daryl Leiton.

Well played lads.

A well fought game which I thought our lads deserved to win. An even 1st half with both keepers making fine saves although Danny Hain looked to have scored with a far post header after a great cross from Josh Winchcombe but the ref and linesman ruled it had been cleared off the line.

In the 2nd half Margate appeared to gain control and the winner was scored by Sammy Cliff who picked up the ball outside the area, jinked into area and fired an unstoppable shot past the keeper. Plus points for me were Sammy Cliff and Dan Langiano looking sharp in midfield (tho Sammy did move up front during 2nd half). Sam Paine who was a little human dynamo, Josh Winchcombe on left wing who was pacey and delivered great crosses and finally Luke Prentice in goal who was always quick of his line and made some good saves.

Well done lads and lets go and get Sutton to make up for the 1st team unlucky exit there!

A great result well done lads. Lets hope we can keep the cup run going at Sutton. Also really great to see a crowd for an U18's game.

P.S. Good job Sammy Cliff does still turn out for the u18's some times :)
