Southend were guilty with some wayward finishing( Wilf Misiska in particular ) against an Enfield side missing 3 of our 1st choice back four , and 5 others unavailable .

 

Steve Wright saved a tamely hit penalty for which Adilson Lopes was sent off for a quality save on his own goal line with 25mins left .

 

Back luck Southend Manor . Lady Luck was against them .

Pretty honest summary there TopGun.......I was gutted that Manor did not progress on the balance of the game. Saying that though, I reckon we could still be there now and not have scored

 

On the day I thought Wright was excellent in goal for E's, ecspecially when you consider he took a couple of knocks aswell.

 

I Must say what a great little set up over at Broxbourne HQ....the pitch was lush and great hospitality afterwards. See you in the Brasted in a couple of weeks.
