After 2 successive promotions

An FA Trophy

Runners up in the Vans Trophy and Semi finalists

5th round of the cup last year

7th in the league with a mid table div 3 team(im playing in div 2)

 

And I get sacked............WHY????????

You've set such a good standard in your previous seasons that your over-expectant chairman expects you to keep it up, some clubs have more lenient boards, I'm sure someone will come on and tell us which ones.... I'm assuming you haven't blown the entire budget on player wages etc...

I just got the sack for releasing the whole Southend United squad! To be honest they are absolute crap on that game so I was approaching New Year and lying 23rd in Div 3. I thought I had nothing to lose. I was sharpening my axe and released all but about 5 Southend players. I was doing great after that, some of the regen players were better than the real players and I moved up to 18th. Unfortunately it was too little too late at on 29th January 2003 I was sacked as Manager of Southend United!

Hahaha Glenn Hoddle was appointed after me, lead them to 7th with my squad and then sacked with them sitting in 15th halfway into the next season!

They appointed Ebbe Skhovdahl afterwards. Sacked sitting 18th the next season. Meanwhile I went from 3rd division Burnley(despite 4 million debts, lead them to 5th and left for 1st div wolves, they got promoted and currently sit 12th in div 2, six places above daggers and I sit 1st in div one after saving from relegation.) Aren't daggers regretting sacking me now?

Right heres an update for you. Graeme Souness was appointed after Ebbe. They are now relegated, 22nd in Div2 (oh how the mighty have fallen), 2 days after that they went into receivership, so I will now buy all the players I bought as future prospects on the cheap and Burnley, the club I revived financially as well as the team which incidently the team I played is the same one being used currently finished 1st in Div 2 and Wolves my current club finished the season with Jack Hayward holding aloft the Div 1 title. Wolves are no longer a sleeping giant but I do feel for Daggers after all they have now appointed 3 high profile managers who have gloriusly failed in their attempt to emulate me, the unknown essex boy so Good LUck(NOT!) to Dag & Red in Div 3 will I mingle with Man Utd, Arsenal and the rest of the best in the Premiership.

i discovered when ever u manage a national squad no matter how well u do u get sacked in 2006. then getting a job after is impossible.

Im in 2007 so I wonder whattll happen then, Mexico sacked their boss so I might apply for it. Saw something good today, Hull after Wolves Boss in thew news apparently Im wanted by Hull but I refused them, why would I want to drop two Divisions, They probably think Im good at reviving sleeping Giants

Im getting scared now. After 8 seasons of southend being in money trouble all of a sudden money has pomped it self on the scene for them. Thats not all they seem 2 be rapidly climbing up Div3 this could turn ugly!!

was manager at birmingham city, set a target of respectable league position, finshed 7th, just out of the playoffs on goal difference and they sacked me!!! so i applied and got the villa job, and promptly retired
