Erm, excuse me, "Disciplinary", but werem't you outed on the Staines Forum as the Heybridge press officer?

Wouldn't that render your posts on this subject (across several threads) rather irrelevant?

Fair enough, but given that you and "Disciplinary" joined at a similar time, I'd love to see the IP addresses these posts have got. I think they'd be very similar...

Managers need time and clubs need stability. Two seasons ago, at this stage we were bottom of the League, out of the FA Cup and about to be spanked 4-1 at Ware in the Trophy. After that game, our manager offered to resign. It was accepted and we went on to finish sixth and reach one Cup Final at First Team level, two at Reserve level and our Youth Team won their League.

Building on that, we had a record-equalling FA Cup run last season, won a trophy and the Youth Team won their Division and finished second in the Championship play-offs.

If we had panicked and changed the manager, would all of that had happened? Probably not. No manager should be judged on ten games.
