I feel that I am justified in commenting on Wader's accusations earlier in this thread, and on Cliff's ridiculous comments about what was said on the TK. I was one of the people posting on that forum at the time, along with Loose, and we were very circumspect in our remarks. As far as Wader is concerned, I think I've said before that we applied in good faith to the SSMFL and had our submissions approved at every stage. Why anyone should have any ill-feeling towards us is also a mystery to me - we are simply a new football club starting out on the road and I make sure that all my communications with officials of other clubs are friendly and polite. I remain disappointed that no-one from the SSMFL has written to me (an email would have done) to let me know the outcome of our application. I know exactly what passed between my club and the League as I was the sole contact with the SSMFL in this matter. I still have the emails that were exchanged.

As to our match tomorrow against The 61 FC, I have spent the whole day getting things ready at the ground and will be back there in the morning to make sure things are just right for both teams' players, officials and supporters. So perhaps that's the reason "everyone" dislikes us, Wader - we like to do things properly and make people welcome.

Well, Cliff thinks if he says something often enough it will slip into non-league folklore and become "The Truth". He knows a couple of the people involved with our club (I'm one of them), but he knows nothing of the work we have done and what we have been through to get all of this going. It's easy to spend time trying to undermine something which means nothing to you. However, it means a lot to me, to Loose and to our owners. I changed my whole life and moved hundreds of miles for my club. I have to wonder what Cliff would put on the line for his club. I don't think when push came to shove, he would risk very much.

"at Kentish Town I brought a professional fundraiser onto 'the payroll', or so Veronica thought, on a no win no 15% fee basis, however when she got the Club 5k from the Emanuel Vincent Harris Trust the then Manager unsurprisingly refused to pay his due's and she ran a mile"

oh yes let me see - you raised 5K for the club - now what was that for again?????

You may have brokered the deal Rhodes but it was as useful as a chocolate fire guard...wait I take that back melted chocolate is nice...

as useful as tits on fish - wait tits are tits (unless they are moobs :bartshocked: )...

I got it - as useful as Rhodes at a football club. thats better :signthankspin:

Keeps - I thought Sal knew that I live by the Shankly saying however even I wouldn't change my whole life and move hundreds of miles for a venture such as Southill Alexander, what is she trying to prove. Surely it would have been far more constructive to stay put on the West Coast, keep the same lucrative job and invest in Lancaster City who are a sleeping giant, it wouldn't take a great deal to get them from the Unibond Division 1 North to the Conference.

Unc was always the driving force from day one behind Southill Alexander and was instrumental in brokering the groundshare deal with Biggleswade Town, without him it wouldn't have happened. Now he has handed over the reins and taken a back seat leaving Sal and Loosely to get on with things the Club is like a rabbit caught in the headlights.

Wondering at what point his family found out about how he lived his life by Bill Shankly? Before they were suddenly homeless?
