There are regular meetings between SSML and Essex Senior League sides. I've never noticed you seeking to compare these?

I compared the Meerkats this aftenoon. None of which had played in The Beds County League. the ESL or the SSML as far as I could gather.

Ref Off Ref - You've been out of circulation for a couple of days, where have you been out of interest and what is your line of work.

All I want to do on Friday is create a thread in preparation for the intriguing Southill Alexander v The 61FC cup tie on Saturday, nothing more nothing less, AWK will then hopefully post to confirm he will be attending the game and we'll just see where it goes from there.

I've helped you out Rhodes, didn't want you going to all that trouble so I've started a thread. Apart from you posting the results (if you are first) that should be your total involvement shouldn't it?

As you can't be trusted not to be snide I take it that Neutral Fan's commitment to delete any of your posts involving Southill Alexander will be honoured.

Sjj2112 - Well I won't be at the game so how would I be able to comment however if AWK attends then I will be going by what he reports, like I said they are both Step 7 Club's so it will be interesting to see the gulf between them and the two respective League's.

That hasn't stopped you passing comment on every SA game to date.

A good point sjj2112. From comments made by clippy in the last few days, you would have thought that he was at the Wellingborough Town v Kentish Town match. He wasn't, but still seems to have plenty to say about it. Seems a case of talking the talk but being unable to walk the walk to me.

Loosely - I'm afraid that's not on, I still intend to create a separate thread solely for the Southill Alexander v The 61FC on Saturday as there will be a great deal of interest in the game, I may even swerve Amersham Town v Tokyngton Manor and attend myself

I'm still debating which match to go to Rhodes, though I am swaying towards the Southill Alexander vs The 61 FC (Luton) game at the moment. The way we are playing its going to be a tough fixture to come through, our results recently have been poor.

As for the SSML vs Beds County League:

The Beds County League sides first entered the Beds Senior Trophy in 2006-07 and in all 11 matches between BCL sides and the SSML sides it was the SSML sides that won through in every one.

The following season and another 11 matches were played between sides from the two leagues, this time going 7-4 in favour of the teams from the SSML, however a BCL side did make the final as Caldecote lost 0-1 to AFC Dunstable.

Last season and again 11 matches were played, with again the SSML coming out on top with an 8-4 margin giving a 26-7 overall record. Of course The 61 FC (Luton) won the competition but very nearly got knocked out in the 2nd Round to Renhold United where we were 3-0 down with just 25 minutes left to play.

Since the Beds Senior Trophy's inception in 2002-03 it has been won by a SSML side every season, with AFC Dunstable and Brache Sparta winning the competition twice each, Caldecote are the only non SSML side to compete in the Final, United Counties League Division One sides also play in this competition.

Yes Rhodes, whats your thinking behind that then? Not that any of us will be able to follow your twisted thinking.

Thats really interesting AWK, thanks for posting that. I'm just hoping that the game between SAFC and The 61FC is close!

I'm sure that NF will deal with such an unnecessary thread appropriately should it appear.

AWK - Are you talking about Luton at Kidderminster or The 61FC, surely it's just a matter of how many The 61FC score at the Carlsberg Stadium on Saturday

Rhodes, where I have been and what my line of work is has nothing to do with the SSML so take that as your answer.

Also it is so obvious that you only wish to do a thread on Southill Alexander v 61FC Luton so you can mock SAFC, if you are thinking of going to the game instead of watching Tokynton can we take it then that the new management have already laid down the law at Manor and have BANNED you from all their games.

If Loose wants to do a thread on the game or a report then that is for him to do, if he doesn't then he wont, if people are interested in the result then they can find it out for themselves, NO ONE NEEDS OR WANTS your input.....but somehow think we'll get it (bit like kids who play with 'matches', it's a disease)

And Rhodes, if your interests in the Southill Alexander v 61FC Luton game are purely football and not to get at SAFC, then why post 'SURELY IT'S ONLY A MATTER OF HOW MANY GOALS 61FC LUTON WILL SCORE AT THE CARLSBERG STADIUM'...even you can't bulls**t yourself.

What a clown you really are

Could be either Rhodes, alas Luton have been playing poorly this season with results somewhat masking performances, still hopefully the new manager (whoever it might be) will be able to turn things around.

As for The 61 FC (Luton) a mixture of background problems and losing a few players has had a big effect on the club and Saturday's match is far from being a foregone conclusion, I'd settle for a win on penalties which will hopefully kick start our season!

Decent admission price, especially with a programme thrown in. I would say hello but how will I know who you are?

AWK - No doubt the programme on Saturday will be littered with school boy errors such as the wrong caption against pictures so it's not really worth the paper it's printed on. Also the cover is only one sided, the two inside covers are both blank which I don't really see the point of.

I think the above is a typical example of the postings that should be deleted.
