Greetings from north west London.

 

I was browsing your topics and saw the fund raising efforts which reminded me of my own team and our supporters time and money that has gone into creating a solid base in Ruislip in the last year. You may know we spent 18 years living a nomadic existence at various grounds until we got a proper home again.

 

We are trying to get more local fans to come along and sample the delights and we averaged about 400 per match last season. We know that it's gonna take time but I posted on our forum the idea of attracting more opposition fans..now you can see why i'm on here!

Oh by the way - With Neville as your boss I sent a speculative invite to the London Everton supporters club to see if any of them fancied seeing their idol. Last season it was a highlight to see this legend at our ground .

We are having a beer based fund raiser during Octo-beer , a pound from each pint is going into the playing budget. We got off to a slow start and our first game during this promotion (versus Canvey) saw us chug 320 pints.

 

We upped the ante for last Saturday's FA cup game v Lewes and consumed a belly busting 897 pints! Get in there!

 

The game on Saturday is our only other match at home during this month so we will be going all out to push the accumulated total over the 2000 pint mark.

 

We'd love your help - the Lewes Lot put on a fine display in the bar , not matched at all by what their team did on the pitch ( we won 3.0)

 

We have the Aston Villa v Chelsea game on before the main event if you are planning on getting there early.
