Amerste - I think we all know what you meant lol

Like the 4-0 home drubbing by Pitstone & Ivinghoe you mean

I was referring to the last 3 games in which Kentish Town have picked up 4 points and those were against teams who were expected/expecting to win.I think we all know that at this sort of level it's usually the best team on the day that wins whether it be Pitstone & Ivinghoe,Dunstable Town or indeed Kentish Town.To make a comment about hoping to see Kentish play competitively without having been to watch them is unfair especially as I have seen them play competitively in every game so far! I think my point is proven by "The Coldends" match report of KT v KLT.

As for Mauritius Sports I'm afraid ignorance is not a defence Rhodes.

I didn't make any comment about " hoping to see Kentish Town play competitively " What I said was I would rather see a competitive game. Meaning rather than a one sided high scoring game, and I'm sure that even with the loss to Dunstable Kentish Town would still have been competitive.

Fair enough amerste thanks for clearing that up.The way it was worded caused a little confusion as to what you meant. If you go to the game today im sure you will see a very competitive Kentish Town side.My response was aimed more at rhodes anyway as he loves throwing jibes at Kentish Town whenever he can get one in.No hard feelings amerste.

Amerste - What was the game like today, I'm surprised you only won 3-0 as I was expecting another Chalfont St Peter type result from last season

I think you should come down and watch Kentish Town play sometime and see for yourself what is going on nowadays and maybe you will finally be able to get some closure because there is obviously some bitterness still there Rhodes. The team now are way ahead of the team that lost to chalfont last season and haven even hit a fraction of their potential yet. With the quality within the squad and at such a young age its just a matter of time before results start becoming more consistent but don't take my word for it come down and watch a game if you've got it in you.

I'm so sorry I made the effort. It was shocking, and I will add by both teams for different reasons. Aylesbury went ahead early from a penalty ( hand ball ) quickly followed by a second through open play, then AFC took their foot off the peddle and played like it was a knock about. Kentish Town player captain could not handle the trickery or speed of the winger so committed numerous fowls and was lucky not to be double carded within the first half, but it didn't take him long to be shown a red in the second half soon followed by another red for another Town player for loads of verbal. Honestly say didn't know which team had nine men for the rest of the game, Aylesbury did not look interested although was easy to keep the ball, it looked like town had more of the ball in the second half than they did in the first.

In some defence AFC was missing players and windy conditions maybe didn't suit. To sum up, at times it was more exciting to watch the keeper walk the 100yds or so to fetch the ball from across the running track.

Not the greatest of games today I will have to admit but wasn't helped by probably the worst trio of officials in the SSML.Kentish were also missing up to 6 key first team players and didn't do too badly considering.Windy conditions definitely didn't help nor did the rock hard surface...I hope it rains soon!

Really, strange then that Mr Starr is one of the best Referee's, if not the best, on the SSML and Mr Carman and Mr O'Connor are not far behind

Coming from you I think that justifies my opinion on how bad they are.I have to say the general standard of officiating in the SSML is poor anyway but today those 3 took it to an all time low.Kentish Town are away to Oxhey Jets on sat will you be going to the game?

To clarify the situation Mr Rhodes, Young Javier turned up late for the match and "THE MANAGER" had to put him on the subs bench, as most managers would have done............but I might be wronggggggggggggg, please do let me know.

As for SM they continued to ignore our correspondence from April last year, and I do believe that that is very "ignorent" and they were FULLY AWARE" and yet continued to believe they could do want they wanted and ignore our polite requests. Life is a hard learning curve Mr Rhodes.

I hope that this answers all the questions, if you require any further information please ask.

In the Essex League we all know that the player in question was sine die since 2006.

On Monday 6th September 2009 at the Bethnal Green game < 2 days after the MS game in the FA Vase> were told that MS were going to be kick out of the FA Vase after KT tip off.

Having said that < the player was sine die since 2006> how on earth was Kentish Town allowed to use the player during the 2007 - 2008 season and win promotion < Champions Div 1>.

Can we conclude that KT played ringers during the whole season and that Haringey Borough were the real champions.

Agree the conditions didn't help. But both teams were poor. As for the officials, the only thing they got wrong was not getting the cards out earlier, a good few times your captain swiped at the feet of players going past, there was even a comment in the first fifteen minutes that he would not finish the game.

Kent was most enjoyable and FoRM saw a 3-2 win in the F.A Vase.

If what you say is true then Kentish Town's Championship and promotion in 2007/2008 is surely nul and void

If that were true then surely Rhodes you would have to take back every bit of praise you have given to Clement and Hector not to mention the likes of Jon Donoghue.Surely that would be too much for you to bare? you may wanna think before posting in the future...

Hey Hey - The Club Secretary during that season should have ensured he was fully aware that no Kentish Town players were sine dined, I regularly did so the previous season
