England tonight

You boys (CZ, EFM'L. Laz etc) off to the Crown tonight to watch the England game.

Rumour has it the biggest lightweight of them all is making an appearence, wether he'll be drinking though is yet to be confirmed.

im having trouble getting motivated for this game.. i hate poxy qualifiers.. ok the turkey game was good fun as will the away game be but the rest of the dross are sooo bland.. i think my fave qualifier was italy england when we needed a draw. a masterful performance with ian wright almost nicking a winner at the death...

Nah, best qualifier has to be the 5-1 Germany one!!

 

I'm kinda with you on this one, CANV - I didn't bother with the Macedonia one at all, and once it became obvious that Liechtenstein wasn't going to be a goal-fest, I turned that off too.

 

I remember at the time of that Italy one, that Eileen Drewery was claiming to have made Ian Wright miss, using her powers, in order to prevent the England fans rioting!!

I know what you all mean and if I had something better on I wouldn't care if i missed it. I wouldn't take a night off work for it either.

 

Still with loads of us out, it may be a crack - Lets face it we never really watch the game anyway!

 

Not sure what the best qualifer was - I was in Melbourne for the 5-1 with one other person, it would of been great to be in the Crown for that one!

The Crown was just rocking, mate. I have never been in a pub with an atmosphere like it. Imagine the atmosphere when we beat Argentina and multiply it by about ten!!
