Hi margate fans,

I am a CD Javea/Norwich fan from spain. George is signed with us until the end of season 09/10 we thought.

He was at Norwich through there acadamy i believe and has had two spells with us and always been an exciting player. We have big financial trouble this year and our doing well to put a team together in the 5th teir of spanish football.

Our manager just left Kenny Brown to join ex team mate jullian dicks at grays and we all thought george was leaving to go there...

Now seen he made an apperance for you last night...is he signing for you? and its the ryman premier you are playing in?

heres info on the situation from our end

Thanks and good luck in the rest of your season.

Thanks for the info Jave. He played in a friendly for us last night, on the wide left, looked very fast and skilful too. Not sure re the signing as will need international clearance first I believe. Yes it is Ryman Premier we play in.

Good luck to your team too.

Sounded like he did alright to me as well. Margate needing international clearance for players, just doesnt seem possible does it lol.

Are we talking about the same player here??? i see he was called George jeremy on the site??lol If we are indeed talking about George Jermy yes i agree, excellent player....he had short spell here at Bishops Stortford, was never given much of run in 1st team hence he returned to spain, but he always looks to have bags of talent....was hoping he would return to us!! Keep an eye on him in pre match warm up, hes worth admission alone with his ball jugging etc...has a video on you tube i believe...good luck to all at Margate.

yes that is video...has some skills there.! i am of the opinion that hes the kind of player who would probably b much more effective playing at higher level than ryman or conference...games more physical it seems and that doesnt suit him so well...anyhow, will follow ur scores to..best of luck saturday..looks a tough one!

Jermy had a quiet game I thought. All the debutantes had fairly quiet games really,(only to be expected), but of those who shone most I would say Jermy was the least impressive. I must have been watching a different game to others. Yes, he had a few good touches but nothing substantial on the day. If he can transfer his undoubted talents to that effect in a game against opposition then I'm sure he'll prove a very tricky customer indeed. Transferring those skills to a match aint as easy but I look forward to him doing that on the pitch & in the game itself rather than just for the warm up.

Germy needs to take on the full backs more.Seemed a bit reluctant to do so on Saturday. Less fear & more reward, thats what I say.Sammy showed that when he replaced Germy. Doing that causes all sorts of problems for defenders.Germy is indeed an exciting prospect though I agree. He certainly looks the part I have to say.

Akwasi & the french guy impressed me more on their debuts. The French lad especially, once he'd been switched inside.

You must have been watching a different game as Sammy Cliff replaced the French Jeremy and not George.

Think you were watching a different game Cookie, Jermy went past their full back several times to the byline putting in dangerous crosses in the first half. As they say though people see a game in different ways, thats the beauty of football.
