Give Nev a chance

Just my opinion, Give the big guy a chance, a chance to prove he can do it.

I can hear all the arguments from certain parties, "dover", "Hastings" etc. Some of us do, some of us don't, hopefully most of us learn from what others see as our mistakes but, in reality is a learning curve. One of the problems in our country is, we do not allow people to make mistakes? we do not allow them to learn, we expect every thing and every one to be perfect from birth.

Good luck Neville I for one hope KP gives you a chance.

The opinion that matters is the one belonging to whoever is putting all the money up for new players.

Well maybe chance is not the right word, give him a go is better , keeps some sort of continuity too. Maybe Ian is in long run but I still feel Nev can do it for us too.

Does Margate fc have time to give him a chance given our position in the league i think not ,in my opinion Ian o,connell is the one for me to take us forward .

What time would Ian have, His hands would also be as tied by contracts as any one else. Though i would love to see Ian here I do not think the time is right.

Not very fair on Nev though if he wants the job, maybe???

I will say whoever gets it though will get my full support as always, unless its that fat Scot from the red side. ;)

I am sure he would love to come here. As Alan as said, I would support him if he was chosen. But Ist i would like Neville to be given a fair crack of the whip.

I'm not sure about this one. I'm still gutted at my hero TY stepping down. I believe he came in and did a job on very limited resourses. Although a legend in the greater football world he buckled down to the nitty gritty of this level. He wanted Gate to compete in the Prem, and because of that he has gone. I can't help thinking Big Nev is better suited to coaching. Sounds like the board are open to outside offers, and we shouldn't rule anyone else out at this stage. We've a great youth nucleus, plus the very exciting new signings. Combine that with a proven RP manager coming in and the players that follow, we could actually start competing. Just my opinion.
