Reserves v Brentwood Town tonight

Pooch

Anyone know the score?

3 1 to Billericay, goals from Baker, Dormer and Sullivan

Team

Walker, Macca, O'Raw, Shinn, Oates, Dunlop, Sullivan, Dormer, Baker, Bricknell, Wareham

Subs

Knight, Fiston, Chatting (Wareham), Frankis (Bricknell), Pond (Oates)

For what was a strong line up i thought the first half was quite heavy going. Fitness began to show as the game wore on though. At times we played some decent stuff, but there were times when i thought we could do with a character (Wareham aside) who can actually run at defenders. We tend to get into good positions and then decide to go back across the pitch with our passing looking for that opening. I really believe defenders hate playing against speed, and that is what i think we as a team lack, which if nothing else can "potentially" win free kicks in dangerous areas.

One positive was Chatting creating our third with a whipped in cross and also putting in another decent ball.

Chatting?

Whenever I'm seen him play, he has been a threat going forward and can whip in a decent cross or two.

The quite one's they are the one's to watch.

Still nice to see a conclusive Blues win at New Lodge (for what ever Blues team) and to see Sullivan on the score sheet :applaus:
