Reportedly SB held a team meeting at Wood yesterday. Troy is his no 2, Sammy was at the meet as was nephew Ricky and apparantly some more of last years Rebels!

Sammy's still under contract for another year - so unless Boreham Wood want to pay for him he's going nowhere.

 

As for Ricky, not surprised (and not bothered), and it does not surprise me that others were there as well...

 

We'll see who is comitted to Slough when we return to training in July.

If any players want to go then they can go as far as I'm concerned. I'd love to see the majority stay but only if they want to play for Slough Town.

 

"Serve with honour", it says and if they don't want to do that then they're welcome to leave.

Here Here Ian. If they want to play for the club and not for the money, they'll stay. I really do hope Boot stays alongside Winston for next season to spearhead our attack. Not only will it be a boost for any players who join or stay, it will be a massive boost for the fans.

Agree with what you say Ian and Gary. I'd just be disappointed if Sammy decided to jump ship as he's clearly the fans favourite at Slough and has a chance to show he's comitted to the club rather than go to another club where he clearly does not 100% see eye-to-eye with the manager

but these times are ending.....clubs don't have the money nor are their a shortage of players these days...
