Well I suppose that frees up some wages. Though who plays alongside Blackman?

 

Dan Lombardo, was impressed with him Saturday, he ran more in 5 minutes then Steve West did the whole game and created a few good chances.

 

And does anyone know if Nicholls has definitely left?

 

Nicholls is injured, he hasn't left.

The signing of Steve West now seems quite strange, it was if he was signed on his past reputation - with no regards to his current form and level of fitness.

It seems that the same could be said about the signing of Jamie Lawrence and Narada Bernard - both of whom are quality players when fully fit, but are injury prone at this current stage of their careers and are not fit enough to be core members of a small squad (where the demands on players are that they should aim to play 30 - 45 games a season).
