BlueGate Alan
I will close this poll at 4pm on Wednesday.
I am Spartacus
I have voted for Lloyd as he gave 120% on Saturday OK he missed a penalty that he got himself but he must be fed up running for 2. Also, I thnk Phill D's comment to him as he left the clubhouse to go home was harsh (humorous yes but harsh).
BlueGate Alan
I too went for Lloyd he ran himself into the ground on Saturday with, as Jim says, no support.
Jake
Thought Blackman was good on Saturday and as you say he was running for two and had absolutely no support. Hopefully Lombardo will start on Saturday. Anyways one player stood out for me on Saturday, John Keister.
freefred
Just wanted to ask a question which I did ask during commentary on saturday, but to a wider audience now. Does Blackman go to ground a touch too easily? It just seemed from the commentary that every time he had the ball at his feet and started moving forward he ened up on the deck. Wellsie
Blackman, Haverson and Keister were the 3 outstanding candidates for me, but I've gone for JK (again). He plays that well and leads on the pitch as well. Top player!
P.W.
Lloyd for me too, did the work of two strikers, without the result. How fat fit is Steve West?
Dutch_Mike
Got to be JK for me. Defence certainly looked a lot steadier with him there.
BlueGate Alan
It is looking like a two horse race so far! I hope we are going to cope without JK on saturday!
Wellsie
Hopefully Louis will go back into the middle of defence. Still his best position in my view and it will be great to see him, there. Even better is Dan Young is fit enough to play.
Broadstairs Dave
Lloyd for me ran and ran desperately unlucky several times and took at lot of stick that the ref chose to ignore.
StuyRandall
For me, it's between Lloyd and Lacy. Lacy worked hard, but often got ignored when he got into space
TonyM
Lloyd for me as well, never stopped for the full 90 mins.
AncientBlue
And Lloyd for me also.
Cookie
Keister was again good in that sweeper role but one guy impressed me more than before this season Jack Havewrson. Close call between the two but I'm plumping for Haverson on this occasion.
Cookie
Just wanted to ask a question which I did ask during commentary on saturday, but to a wider audience now. Does Blackman go to ground a touch too easily? It just seemed from the commentary that every time he had the ball at his feet and started moving forward he ened up on the deck. I've noticed a few of our players concern themselves with the player rather than concentrate on the ball that is coming their way. Blackman is one but others do it too. The sooner they concentrate on the ball thats coming to them & attack it rather than barging the player out of the way FIRST the sooner their form will improve i.m.o. It''s very noticeable.Take a look next game!
michael
Have'nt seen the team for 3 games now-must try harder. Are we still conceding unnecessary free kicks in dangerous areas ?
Brickie
One player not mentioned here is Ben Lewis, I thought he had probably his best game for us since the psf's when he looked fairly solid. He won most of his headers and looked to find a blue shirt rather than hoofing it blindly up field, could be finding his form at last?
Cookie
Agree, Ben DID have a solid game at the back. & if it wasn't for another of our players committing an offence off the ball he would have been on the score sheet too. Nothing wrong with his headed goal from where I was standing.Shame someone else had to misbehave at that particular moment.Won all his headers (times his jump very well) . He was certainly on my short list Brickie. Apart from the Cray game where EVERYONE ,(including him) had a bad day I haven't seen him let us down at all.
