Yeah I'm just one of those fans who has missed only a couple of games in the last 4 years, just one of those fans who volunteers for the club by running the forum and writing the away match reports.

 

The only thing seperating me from the other Molesey fans is that I'm saying what everyone is saying behind the goal, and putting it out there. Whats the point of the fans telling each other how we think something is if we never let anyone higher up know our feelings.

 

Have you seen the Molesey fans? One of a very, very few clubs in this leaue who chant and sing throughout the game and don't just have some muted applause when we score like a majority of other clubs, we are the only club I've seen clapping the players off after a defeat because we recognise the effort put in.

 

The fans are behind the players 100% every week... Getting through the FA Vase was a good achievement but means nothing right now. I wasn't moaning then because I thought that the manager had turned things around after the poor first season and we would be challenging for the top of the table, however our season fizzled out and we finished 11th out of 22 and now we are 21st out of 22.

 

Another of the Molesey fans actually calculated Moleseys points earned versus points lost under Steve Webb to be a meagre 28.98% which isn't good enough for a team wanting to get back into the Ryman league

HI ELFKING, IF YOU READ PREVIOUS THREADS (PLEASE CHECK) YOU WILL HAVE NOTED THAT I HAVE BEEN TO MOLESEYS GROUND ON 2 OCCASIONS (ASH & CHERTSEY) THIS SEASON AND COMPLEMENTED HOW NICE THE PEOPLE, INCLUDING THE FANS ARE, A NICE CLUB-HOUSE AND NICE GRUB SO I HAVE SEEN 1ST HAND HOW MUCH YOU SUPPORT YOUR TEAM, INFACT ITS A PLEASURE TO SEE. TO ME PERSONALLY ITS ONE OF THE BEST CCL GROUNDS WITHOUT QUESTION, A DEFINITE RYMAN CLUB. ON THOSE PREVIOUS THREADS, YOU WILL HAVE READ THAT I WAS IN AMONGST THE MOLESEY FANS COMPLEMENTING THEM TO BE THE ONE OF BEST FANS IN THE CCL CERTAINLY MOST VOCAL AND ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE ESPECIALLY AFTER STANDING NEXT TO ASH-ASH-ASH-UNITED FAN!

 

THERE ARE MANY A LONG LASTING FAN LIKE YOU ELFKING SOME GO INTO 20-25 YEARS SO YOU HAVE ALONG WAY TO GO YET! YES, FANS DO GET FRUSTRATED AND CAN SEE WHY BECAUSE MOLESEY FANS KNOW YOU HAVE A GOOD TEAM AS I HAVE EXPERIENCED WATCHING MOLESEY GAMES THIS SEASON. WHAT WORRIES ME ABOUT ALL TYPES OF SUPPORTERS FROM THE PREMIER DOWN TO GRASS ROOTS, THE MANAGER (WHO IS ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE I ACCEPT) ALWAYS GETS THE BLAME, YET WHAT FRUSTRATES ME AS AN OLD EXPERIENCED FAN, NO-ONE EVER CRITICISES THE PLAYERS COMMITTMENT OR PERFORMANCES, DO YOU MOLESEY FANS EVER DO THAT ? I DOUBT IT, BECAUSE THE MANAGER IS AN EASY STANDING TARGET. WHEN DID YOU LAST CRITICIZE A MOLESEY PLAYER AND QUESTION THEM? AND LETS GO EVEN FURTHER BY PUBLICALLY ON YOUR FORUM ? THAT IS WHAT I'M TRYING TO GET OVER ELFKING, WHEN MOLESEY DID WELL LAST SEASON IN THE FA VASE, WAS IT 1/4 FINAL ? YOU STATE YOU DIDN'T ''MOAN'' EXACTLY THAT'S HOW FINICKY WE SUPPORTERS CAN BE. WOULD BE INTERESTING IF MOLESEY PERSERVERE WITH YOUR MANAGER AND CHANGES IT AROUND, YOU'LL BE THEN CHEERING THEM ON, SO 'EGG ON FACES' COMES TO MIND.

 

IT'S EARLY DAYS YET ELFKING. YOU KNOW THE CCL LEAGUE, I'VE SEEN IT FOR MANY A YEAR, EVERYONE CAN BEAT EVERYONE SO YOU SHOULD BE PATIENT AND GET BEHIND YOUR TEAM AND MANAGER. AS A POSITIVE, I HAVE READ ON YOUR FORUM MOLESEY HAVE A YOUTH POLICY AT THE CLUB, WHICH IS A CREDIT AND GOOD TO SEE YOUNGSTERS GETTING A CHANCE, PLUS THE CONSTANT SUBJECT OF EVERY CLUB IS THE TEAMS BUDGET WHICH MAY HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT? Of course I'd apologise and admit I got it wrong if he turns it around... But he has disappointed for three years now sometimes you just have to say enough is enough.

 

And I have criticised players on the forum... Our old 'keeper Sheikh Ceesay conceded far too many and I'm not sure about our out of position left back Ollie Dicks and our "luxury" player Ross Defoe

Excellent Linesman at Westfield v Croydon Municipal game,the original linesman never turned up,no phone call either, and a stand in was sought.It was agreed by both teams 45 mins each,but after 45mins by yours truly,the Westfield management team asked would i like to do 2nd half which i did.A totally enjoyable experience,no barracking,shouts of abuse,and at the end both teams came and shook my hand.Add to that £20,a nice pint of Fosters,sandwiches,and a nice chat to Westfield Chairman.We lost,better team won but the welcome by Westfield was 1st class.As for original lino,should he be given another game,I.M.O. never.

 

And despite this friendly welcome smudge you haven't been back in 2 years !
