I'm actually begginning to sound like the old Badfont!!!

 

Just annoyed that in the last 3 matches the refs or linos have not done their jobs (that they get paid for) properly...and it cost us in 2 of the matches! We must have been lucky last season cos i cant remember having to complain as much last year!

Bedfont Sports 1 - 0 Hartley 0

 

Awful game, awful result, lost our way a bit with a few loses in the cups. Didnt think much of Bedfont, they put them selves about and worked hard to keep their lead which came against the run of play AGAIN!! ( man i feel like i have said that alot recently ) then with 15 minutes to go they decided to waste as much time as possible by kicking the ball as far out of the ground as possible and taking it to the corner! Ref never stopped the watch!

 

We probably deserved a point but no more!

 

Another tough game on tuesday against Knaphill!

Brunty 84, i think you may be writing your post through steamed up glasses.

Yes Hartley had the better of the opening ten minutes, but once BS were in there stride

they completly dominated the match, with the BS goalkeeper having no serious saves to make

through out the 90 mins.

Bedfont should have been save with this result on several occassions but missed the goal

several times,including there sub going round your keeper and missing an open goal in the closing

minutes.

chat around the ground was that you had several players out, was that true.

You have a very good keepr , has he played higher level before? very dominant for you! i think dominated the match is a bit strong after your goal you resorted mostly to shots from 25 yards which all went over the bar. We never really tested your keeper but thought we deserved something from the game. not a win tho.

 

 

We have been missing 5 or 6 regular first players for the last few weeks now, it has really tested our squad. Only 3 or 4 of the starting line up on saturday would be our regular first 11.

Being new to this forum,is it normal for posters to make excuses for their side losing.Pitch poor,Bad refs,Bad linesmen,loads of 1st Teamers out.The first 3 excuses are same for both sides,so do not affect result,the 4th only seems to be mentioned when higher placed teams lose,to so called lesser lights.So Sandhurst and Hartley Witney out of Premier Cup,well done Bedfont Sports,nice people there too,and a ground with potential.Just admit you lost to better team on day EASY.

Some times go to watch Bedfont fc, just depends who is at home.

Fantastic that your goalie is still playing at the age of 47. I hope I can still be playing at that age although probably wont be able to!

No excuses Smudge, Just reasons!!

 

I'm as honest as i can be with regards to any posts on here. Have to be or i get shot down by the many people on the forum that travel around the ccl league watching matches. There's no point me lying and saying 1 thing if an independent person comes on here and rubbishes what i have said.

 

I never gave an excuse about the pitch. It is the same for both teams i agree - but Bookham will obviously have an advantage having played on it every other week and being used to the state of the pitch. The pitch is the only excuse for it being the same for both sides.

 

The ref and lino can make multiple decisons that go against only 1 team and not the other during a match. That is an excuse a team can have, and so is having loads of players missing. Just cos a team loses doesnt always mean that the best team won on the day. Football isnt always just 'black and white', 'straight down the middle'. Thats what makes football so interesting.
