Cambo 1 NGU 2 Good game at Krooner with both teams really going for it, could have gone either way but a misplaced back pass let NGU score the winner with the last kick of the game.

Bedfont 0-1 Sandhurst

Fizzers still top!

Colliers Wood Utd 1 Epsom and Ewell 0

After scaling the heights against Chertsey last week we saw the other side of our Jekyll and Hyde nature this week. Full credit to CWU who worked hard ,played well and deserved their win .

I say Jekyll and Hyde but I can never remember which one is which of those two so I need a new cliche ... Laurel and Hardy maybe.. oh well Vase next week so we hope to bounce back with a better performance then.

City led 2-0 at Chertsey (first was a penalty, second a brilliant long range drive in the second half)

Guildford keeper Anthony Hall saved a penalty but the hosts second half pressure told and the equaliser came in injury time. Getting used to this now, sadly.

More like 63mins TC, this is taken from Ashford's website:

Ashford Town (Middlesex) secured their biggest ever win in the FA Cup, eventually hitting double figures against a game Badshot Lea side. The Tangerines got their first goal in the third minute, when HONE FOWLER curled the ball into the net from twenty five yards.

The next goal did not arrive until the 22nd minute, when BYRON HARRISON met a low cross at the back post. Three minutes later, BRIAN HAULE scored his first Ashford goal with a bullet header. Six minutes later, the former Hendon forward added his second goal and his side’s fourth with a tidy strike.

The second half saw Ashford show their Combined Counties League opponents no mercy, with ADAM LOGIE heading home. SCOTT HARRIS made it 6-0 in the 59th minute with another header from a set piece.

Lea’s resistance crumbled in the 63rd minute when goalkeeper Matt Watson was harshly adjudged to have fouled Scott Harris inside the area and, as the last man, was dismissed. Badshot central defender Barry McCoy was also dismissed for his reaction to the sending-off and, after a long delay, VINNIE O’SULLIVAN took the penalty to score his first Ashford goal in nine years.

The nine men of the visitors continued to battle away but eventually tired and three goals in the final ten minutes from HARRISON helped Ashford to eventually record a 10-0 win.

HANWORTH VILLA 2 HORLEY TOWN 4

Second visit in four days to Hanworth Villa and another good win, with our Reserves team goal keeper in as well. Hanworth took the Lead but Horley hit back with two penalties(Hanworth had one but it cleared the trees at the far end of the Ground)and two more good goal to take the three points.

Why no word from Johnno on the Bookha--Cove game ?

I got the impression he wasn't happy with Coves performance.

Why no word from Johnno on the Bookha--Cove game ?

I got the impression he wasn't happy with Coves performance.

Wasnt happy with the ref!! For him to turn down 3 of our penalty decisions but give them a dubious one with minutes left really p1ssed me off! One of their handballs in the box was actually going in the net but he or the lino failed to see it. Our handball in the pen box was a foul on our RB first, and yes the ball did bounce up and hit him on the hand but it was to no ones advantage or disadvantage, it was not deliberate and in my opinion very harsh. I could have understood if he'd given 1 for us at the other end and then said to me that if he gave Cove one, he also had to give Bookham one as it was still handball in the penalty area!

I couldnt even bring myself to shake his hand at the end! Let himself down! He'd had a decent game until he ruined it!

I've had my fill of refs and linos recently. The lino on Tuesday against Molesey was also dogsh1te. He kept giving throws the wrong way, free kicks the wrong way and couldnt spot an offside if it hit him in the face! I even had to request at half time that he switch the linesman to give us a fair chance in the 2nd half! Which he did! Fair play to him! Against Ringmer in the vase the lino missed 2 clear offsides which they scored from which knocked us out. I know they do a great job for us and without them we couldnt play. They've just got to make better decisions for the sake of the game!

As for Coves performance......we are hit and miss at present. Which Cove will turn up is anybodys guess! We could have scored a hatful 1st half on Saturday. 2 one on ones missed, hit the post, and the goalie was brilliant. Saved 3 or 4 great strikes. On tuesday we had 4 or 5 chances and put 2 away!! Saturday we had 8 or 9 chances but failed with all of them! A frustrating day on a dusty, bobbly pitch that is an embarrasment to Dorking F.C and the combined counties league!

Bedfont Tuesday. Not sure which Cove is playing but will certainly get the players right up for it!

Rant over!!! Thankyou for setting it up Big JR!

Excellent Linesman at Westfield v Croydon Municipal game, the original linesman never turned up,no phone call either, and a stand in was sought. It was agreed by both teams 45 mins each, but after 45mins by yours truly, the Westfield management team asked would i like to do 2nd half which i did.A totally enjoyable experience,no barracking, shouts of abuse, and at the end both teams came and shook my hand.Add to that £20,a nice pint of Fosters, sandwiches, and a nice chat to Westfield Chairman. We lost, better team won but the welcome by Westfield was 1st class. As for original lino, should he be given another game,I.M.O. never.
