I have to say that wasn't as bad as most of our performances this season. When they held onto the ball, they looked far better. The only problem was they gave it away to easily. At times it was a bit like American football- they attempt a couple of passes but don't get far, so they kick it down the other end of the field... But in spite of that, that was a (marginally) better perfomance

 

Credit where credit's due, Lewis had a slightly better game. He still gave the ball away a lot, but he did complete many more passes than usual. Haverson didn't however, but he still defended well. Several times though they failed to notice Cliff and Lacy getting open down their respective wings.

 

Honestly, we should have won. Hornchurch were poor and didn't produce much...

 

And that was not 490... trust me, I work on the turnstiles...

From what I've seen of him this season (every home game) Haverson I thought had his best game so far today.Was impressed with him today.

Keister excellent at the back. Just that one stupid foul trying to hold their bloke off when he should have just eased the ball out for a thow in.Trying to be a bit TOO clever there. But that aside he was a star at the back & this sweeper system looks & works much better.

Shame we can't score from penalties AT HOME!

Now that most people more or less know the reason why he packed it in, together with the fact that he did turn up & then sit alongside of KP for that first half, I hope those involved can sort something out between themselves & invite Terry back on board. I won't go into details but it certainly wasn't because of our bad form on the pitch prior to his resignation that made him decide to step down.

 

GET HIM BACK onboard MFC !

Interesting to read that. I was astonished: looked more like 350. Why would they exaggerate the gate? Unless Vicky used to do it and now nobody can be arsed. If it was a cup game I bet they would have reported 200!

With reference to the attendance today - there was a problem with the computer today. As you'll see on the official site, 355 is the attendance I have. No fiddle - just an error that was discovered late on in the day.

Cookie you are being most unkind, some of us physically cant get to matches to catch up on rumours, and Wellsie is brilliant on gate radio but most definately does not deal in rumours. What is going on?
