Now i've previously always had a bit of time for McCarthy and Kentish football, but 'DO I NOT LIKE THIS'.

Journalistic licence to make a story by fitting together 3 different themes to paint a picture.

i guess its what journalists do to make headlines; but this is disrespectful to TY,club and supporters alike in my opinion.

Is the guy reading the same forums we are writing on? A section of fans said he should go? ok yes a few expressed that sentiment. A section of fans calling for C.K. to come back? 2 people and one of those very tongue in cheek is hardly a section of fans is it? Do we have that few fans now? This is a vry disturbing piece from a journalist looking to cause problems. If he had read the forums he would also have seen a lot more people wanted terry to stay.

Unfotunatley in my opinion his journalistic skills do not stretch to much else.

I never can be bothered to read his forum unless I am in need of a bit of plagiarism.

A number of times in the past I have asked him to change what he has posted becasue the way he has done interpreted another interview that he didn't conduct was wide of the mark. This time he has used the quotes from the interveiws but re-ordered them. I to think it's a very provocative way to report what's happened but I just assume that most of his stuff is exagerated and so treat it lightly / with caution. Intersetingly, as well as allowing him to take content from our site I have also given permission to Yourthanet and I find their professional approach spot on. No interpertation unless their own guys speak to people at the club. There in lies the difference.

i don't really think a handful of fans influenced TY decision on a forum and anyhow if he did read this, criticism goes with the job and you take it on the chin and would agree there was more 'for then against' TY.

Reading that then,

Maybe a peace could be brokered ........... Anybody?

Better to resolve the differences and move forward with a united front than to start again and maybe come up against the same issues further down the time line at a more critical point.

Get talking!

Here! here! too. Its the way to go but sadly I can't see it happening somehow.

MFC & TY, get your heads together NOW before the slight improvement in results reverts back to what they were earlier in the season.

Let Terry finish what he started. He was (I'm positive of it) on the brink of getting even better results from this squad.

Terry to resume thats what I say. Sort it fella's

That article makes it sound more final than i thought it might be. I was gutted when i heard TY had resigned. Then i was given hope because he was at the game and talking with KP. Now, from that article it seems the differences could not be resolved. :(

I'd love to see him back.

I have been told by 2 different players on seperate occasions now that TY resigned because a certain player wanted a contract, TY was told the player could have one then when push came to shove the chairman/board (whoever makes these decisions) decided otherwise, it seems this was the straw the broke the camels back.

I stick by what I said at the weekend, that to me it seems reasonable to respect and accept Terry's decision to go. If there was any real animosity between him and the club, then he wouldn't have been at Hartsdown Park on Saturday never mind sat with Keith. You're right about the many rumours flying around DM, and adding to that, does refusing to take the decision and reported context change anything? My view, which with what I've read here would seem to be a minority view - is that Terry having resigned, the club should move on and appoint a new manager with a full and propoer revcruitment process. Terry was great - he never ducked an interview, always told it how it was, had time to say hello to the fans and therefore had the respect of the fans, including me. And him going doesn't take away what he has given the club over the last year.

But, these things happen and for me, going back isn't an option. Learning from the last year and going forward must be the way to go.

Hear hear Wellsie. As our friends from across the channel would say "C'est la Vie".

The sooner we appoint and move on the sooner we will get there.

Well said Wellsie. I have always supported T.Y. but the man has made his decision. I wish him well for the future, and I thank him for all he has done for the club. It is time for the club to move forward and appoint a new manager, obviously we wont get someone as experienced as T.Y., but there must be some good managers around who can bring a mostly young team together and forge them into the team to beat rather than the team people expect to beat. Lets look to the future and hope we get the missing ingredient to get the team firing on all cylinders every week.
