new manager

Now dont shoot me down, but i have been keepin an eye on a certain club just across the water and they are joint top of the league, i know only 8 games or so gone.

there budget must be pretty limited but it must say a lot for that club and the manager.

so give IAIN O CONNELL a try,

pretty sure he would give the post a damn good try and always heads down to mfc at any excuse.

He would also bring the crowd numbers back up as well which we do need, I know they are a league below us but passion and guts and the love for this club are the 3 things we need right now

Agreed Phil but maybe worth getting a petition up asking Terry to reconsider???

to be fair alan we will never know why TY left unless he holds a meeting somewhere and is willing to discuss this with the fans, was you summising that we try and get TY to work alongside Iain at margate, sounds a good idea to me. still what will be will be hey

Roll on saturday

As stated everywhere else, I still support Big Nev for the job, the team are starting to come together now that T.Y. and Nev put together and it seems a stupid idea to disrupt the team when you dont have to.

Have to agree with chris1 if nev has picked up 4 points from two games and brought in some positive decent players what's the need to change so soon if needed at all??

Nev has brought in some decent players, what out of the blue or were some of the players in reserves prior to nev takin over, i think they were.

In my opinion Nev is not good enough for this level of football his past will tell you that, lets have some fresh blood brought in and shake the team up.

I am also with Pagey on this as well

Our current manager has yet to lose a game. What's the problem?

totally agree so far so good with Nev at least give him a chance to see how it goes, need for yet MORE changes at the club when at present things on and off the pitch appear to be turning a corner!

I'm neither for nor against Nev-i simply do not know-and think the Board are right to consider all options.

With regards to Chris' comments-i'll just remind everyone that many thought the same about Robin-we're gonna bash 'em Trott

I note Nev says as well that 'we are'nt capable of playing for a draw '

Why not i ask-sometimes you need to play for a draw surely.

I also note that he says he would rather win 4-3 than 2-1.

I concede that i am in a minority, but is 4-3 a return to the kamikaze/unprofessional/pub football we saw under Trott ?

They score 5 approach-we'll score 6 and of course-we never did.

To be fair Nev also refers to clean sheets away from home .

Its early days but i do have slight concerns that we may be adopting a more gung ho approach which only works very short term.I guess others woud describe it as being positive.

As ever though-forwards win you games;defenders win you championships long term.

In Nev's post-match interview he states 'we knew we had to score at least one'. That shows a deep understanding of the game that some of you lot don't seem to appreciate.

But everyone knows that Chris if we are to win a game.

I too think Neville deserves the chance, though I still believe TY would be the better option. However, that seems dead in the wood now & Nevilles taken over the reins & has made a good start both in getting players in (seems with more quality) & by his results. Still early days I know for him I know but good luck to Nev in the meantime. He deserves a chance to shine on his own.
