Terry has to reconsider his position , if its personal then nothing to do with us , if its about things that were said then we should all learn a lesson and maybe sometimes keep quite , hard to do though when you see your team suffer .

Met terry last year at your gaff and was looking forward to speaking to him again tomorrow.After speaking to him last year he was a man with a wealth and knowledge of football at all levels and done a good job with limited resources like our gaffer has done and will hopefully continue to do so after a short break away from first team matters.

I do think at times us fans need to realise that success is not just winning games but providing a solid platform for the future,something i hope that will take both our clubs ou of difficult times into more solid ones

I hope Terry reconsiders if his personal circumstances allow him to do this.He is a legend in our lifetime and has nothing to prove to anybody.He is the best thing to happen to Margate F.C.in recent years.He has done his best with limited resources but needs more time to make an impact.If Nev is the one to carry on lets at least get off his back.Good luck to everybody today lets have 110% and a good support to spur them on to a win which they are very capable off.

I was surprised but not shocked that TY had left. Great bloke, a hero from my youth.

I have heard he will be at the game today to say good bye to the players and supporters.

If it's not Neville who takes over, I hope whoever comes in to replace TY is a club builder not, a CK or Kevin Keegan type, someone who rips the heart out of the club to pay for success.

Reading this thread gives me hope the future, You should post more often and drown out the cynics. I had begun to despair again at some of the posts from certain people.

Anyway, I wish Terry all the best for the future and if he is still in the area or visits Dia, I for one will always make him welcome.

The Director of Football role was decscribed as a "nothing job" (or something very similar) in that BBC Wales item so that might be a bit tricky.

I think that was just Terry's humour coming out Jeff. When he was that he went to nearly all the reserve games giving advice to the young lads plus, I believe, youth games too when he could.

 

I realise it won't happen but we can dream ehh!
