DEAR TERRY

Dear Terry.

In the past 12 months you have climbed a mountain of achievement with severely limited resources and ongoing liabilities in terms of inherited committed expenditure.

It could not have been easy for you to do all the things necessary to build a team and this as we all know is always an ongoing project.

However I feel you have conquered that mountain and are starting to see the fruits of your labour.

Unaware as I am of any non football reasons and purely as a supporter I would ask you to reconsider your decision.

You have done the hard work and I am sure the silent majority support you.

Thank you

Up the Gate

Spot on Dave, great post mate!

FOR THOSE WHO THOUGHT CK WAS GOOD FOR THE CLUB, THINK, WHO GOT RID OF YOUTH TEAMS AND RESERVES, WHO SPENT ALL THE MONEY ON SO CALLED SUPERSTARS AND WHO WAS MANAGER OF DOVER BEFORE THIER DEMISE.

With a man of Terry's experience I cannot see that a few comments on here would have pushed him to leave. I can only think there is something more to it (like something non-football related), or perhaps he just was not enjoying it?

I assume this is a message of support as the club now has youth and reserve teams, thank you Derek

I think Steve B is correct-there are other reasons i am sure-and 12 months ago almost exactly,TY did say that he would do the job until the end of last season -so maybe no great surprise.

That given-i am also in complete support of what BD has written at the head of this thread, and would love him to reconsider .

Can't say I'm overly surprised. As I said just a few days ago, in recent post-match interviews he seemed more and more downbeat with the performances. He seemed to almost entirely blame himself for some of the matches, and he seemed convinced that he was not the man to lead us. Still, I thought he may have changed his mind after a good result on Tuesday. Personally, am sad to see him go. This club needs consistency, and I thought Terry and Nev could have provided that.
