Arsenal XI - England U-21s

Price for adult to get into Clarence Park to watch St. Albans City vs. Arsenal XI: £10

Price for adult to get into The Stadium Of Light to watch England U-21s vs. Slovakia U-21s: £10

Playing against Farnborough for 45 minutes at the Aimita stadium when you've only got 10 players, yet you still hold them to 7 (even if Crawshaw lost count): Priceless

Brew knows what I'm talking about.

But. £10 for Arsenal XI (or West Ham Utd XI), or £10 for England U-21s...hmmm...it's not a tough one...

GHA - Running out at the Aimita Stadium, glancing at their bench and seeing the Piper brothers plus 5 others, then glancing at our bench and seeing a bucket -Priceless.

Backheel nuts on Keith Dublin - even more priceless!!

EFMTFTV. For us rich chaps, we can indeed afford both. For the casual supporter straight out of the City he can no doubt afford both, but which would he be more likely to pay £10 for? Which would he want to pay £10 for?

(If the England U-21s match was on somewhere closer, for pedantic webbos among us.)

Brew. 2 minutes on the clock, seeing Danny Jones shoot from 25 yards, watch the ball sail into the corner of the net, knowing it's going to be a fairly long night - priceless

Not letting Crawshaw get a hat-trick - even more priceless, especially considering he's playing for us now. You should hope 'Dubbers' joins the Saints. You could have words with him about it all

Words??!!?? It would be more of a constant mickey taking barrage!! Plus he'd get free Salted Nuts in the bar for life..

Being told you're playing up front with 'Greek Trialist' Constantos Kyriakos, knowing full well he doesn't exist, priceless.

Well I found a photo of the night in question the other day, so at the very least expect a full blown poster type effort plastered over the bar.

As for statues, good idea, perhaps we could get the council to commission a local artist to sculpt them out of the remnants of the oak tree...

A photo of the night in question?? How did you get your hands on that then? Wassit look like? Keep that close, Brew. It'll be worth millions in a few years.

[big J.R. Bowen]They might make us look a bit wooden! Nurse?[/big J.R. Bowen]

We could get the four spread out evenly over the top of the Cola stand, 1 in each of the two pitch facing corners, and 2 near the middle, but all symmetrical and perfectly placed the exact distance apart from each other.

Failing that, we could just get the stand named 'The Farnborough Four Stand...'

I actually have three photos - 2 x action shots that probably wouldn't win any photographic awards, plus one of 3 of the Farnboro 4 looking rather knackered after a 45 minute work out. The Cat is nowhere to be seen, perhaps he was caught in the back of the net. Or organising a 5-a-side with Westley in the tunnel.

The Farnboro Four Stand has a nice ring to it. Dublin and Crawshaw to officially open it??

Oi Zeal. Two sides to every story mate

Three photos Brew?? Who on Earth took a camera? The back of the net was tricky to get out of a couple of times, and with regard to the 5-a-side organising, I told Westley 'we've only got 4,' he said 'we'll give you one,' I said 'we've only got 2 now,' he said 'I'll give you 3,' I said 'you may as well play amongst yourselves, we've got none now.'

We could get Andy Thomas to officially open it, Brew. That'd be interesting.

Well, I can understand your confusion given the masses of people in the crowd that night, but I'll narrow it down to a few likely suspects...Eamsey, The Wife, AFF, Gentleman Jim Brewer, Stubbs.

Come to think of it, that was the entire crowd....

Andy Thomas. Legend.

To be honest, there should be one or two pics of the SACFC Rezzie goalkeeper pulling off a few 'European, could catch, will punch, look good and smile for the camera' pics in there too.

Yeah right!
