New signing & two more friendlies

Recommended Posts

On Saturday we (the club that is) signed on a one year contract, Nic McDonnell , a 22-year old striker who was with Crawley Town last season.

Two more friendlies have also been arranged, both 'squad' games...

Barking & East Ham United away on Tuesday, July 22nd ko 7:45 pm

St Neots Town away on Tuesday, 5th August ko 7:45 pm

More on Nic McDonnell on the website later...

Can I play?

How many friendlies is that now then?

So close, yet so far...I thought I'd just cracked it. Have as many friendlies as possible at home, make a lot of money with an average 500 people attending each friendly, we can try out new players at the same time, players can play for contracts, and Eamsie can do some work (;) - that was a joke, by the way). Thus everybody's happy.

My theory was soon disproved when I noticed that the above 2 friendlies are away.

B&EHU - is Wraighty still there?
SNT - where's that?

[urchin Boy]GAY OF THE YEAR, IDIOT OF THE YEAR AND MOST BORING IN THE WORLD PROBABLY[/urchin Boy]

Was that bet a joke, or was it serious? Did Sippetts ever pay up, or did he score 97 goals for Berko like he did for Colney before he came to us?

So Rob.

There is to be a pre-season tour after all. It's 'national'. From Hampton in the South through Finchley via the Woood and Arlesey to St. Neots in t'North. [Have I missed any?]

I feel a sponsored walk coming on.

Oi webbo. Firstly, did your first message consist only of 'yawn,' and a whole lot of quote?

Secondly, why wait? The Herts Ad comes out every Thursday. It's Monday. Tell us now webbo, please!

Thirdly, is your house number palandromic (in theory)?

Hi Webbo.

This may help:

Early doors: At the beginning of the game.

There were some positive signs: Most of it was cr@p.

It was a disappointing performance: It was all cr@p.

We wanted to put it over their back 4: We tried the long ball game.

Taken over the whole season: Don't forget the pre-Christmas period.

The players know what I want: That wasn't it.

At the end of the day...: In conclusion....

.
