ANYONE WANT A GAME JUST RING WELWYN ANYONE CAN PLAY AND U CAN JUST PLAY UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME NOT A PROBLEM JUST LIKE THEY DID WHEN THEY PLAYED HATFIELD TOWN ON TUESDAY NIGHT

There is a 100% genuine reason why WGC did what they did and according to the gentleman responsible (RHODES) it is not cheating....rumour was Welwyn read his report re the Cockfosters and Tokynton game and thought it was a new rule that the League had adopted, SEE RHODES YOU ARE FAMOUS, YOU HAVE REALLY STARTED SUMMIT NOW

The other thing you will have missed was one of the best goals for ages. Gavin Forbes had to win the ball in a block challenge before sidestepping a second defender and sliding the ball past the Northwood goalkeeper. It really was stunning. Town were unlucky not to get a penalty in the first half when Antony Stockman had his standing foot knocked away as he was about to shoot but then wasted an excellent chance when a spot kick was awarded in the second half. Stockman uncharacteristically blasted the ball over the bar. Darren Tomlin put us 2-0 nil up before Northwood got one back, when Jason Holmes was unfortunate not to get the ball over the bar, but Town nerves held strong and the score remained 2-1.

 

this is a report from last nights game between enfield town under 18s v northwood u18s in the fa youth cup

 

i was as surprised as any when i looked at this cause hatfield played last night and antony stockman was on the team sheet.

 

if anyone can explain this to me i would be more than grateful. it must be either i am as thick as sh#t or welwyn must just be cheating robbing hand pumps

Surely they wouldn't have done this, local derby, against their tenants of all people, i though Paul Faulkner was better than that, after all he did manage Sun Sports Reserves last season, and with Gurney being his assistant they wouldn't cheat would they??????????????????????????

Everyone hates not playing , but most people fight for their place and they dont all go back to their old club and then decide that they might then go back to the 1st club and try to take their old team mates with them . Morality is a fine thing to talk about when you are involved with Colney Heath .

Don't think you will find that St Mags have ever cheated and played players that are not signed on!!!!!! Are you saying that its ok to do this then Bemused?? Are you happy for teams to act in this way?

Then having decided to take on the management role the following season inquired as to whether certain players - whom were still signed on for colney - would be interested in playing the following season. I'm not sure that that is immoral or even against the rules!!

 

I notice Robin you ducked the question but then about Morality, how about what was done to the away dressing room when Colney Heath came visiting?

 

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, you reap what you sow in this world and Karma has a funny way of coming round, seems to me like you guys have had a dose of yours!

I have no personal crusade against Gurney....Facts show that whatever club he is at has problems!! It is thats simple

 

As for me being on my high horse, your clearly the one on the high horse as you seem to think it is ok for WGC to have acted in this way. This is not Sunday morning park football were you ring round last thing getting your mates in. I pay to get into watch local football at this level and the last thing i want to see is Teams cheating in this way. But you clearly think different maybe you run a side in this way, maybe you think cheating is ok. As for St Mags for as long as i have been watching them which is for a few years noww, i have never seen a ringer take the pitch for them!!!!!

Well Ron, u seem to have reared your ugly head again in something that really you have nothing to do with and i was just wondering as you seem to know so much about our club and after your character assasination of our manager some months ago, calling him Tony Soprano i think it was maybe it is about time you grew a pair, came clean, and told us who you really are instead of hiding behind your silly character name??

I played for Welwyn on Tuesday night and as a player i can certainly understand the frustration from Hatfield if they feel a ringer has been played........if being the important word. What i will say is dont tar the players or blame the people out on the pitch who worked their butts off to try and get a result.....we dont know what goes on above us, christ we dont know what goes on in front of us half the time, thats why we are near the bottom.

 

In the same context, no Welwyn player would blame any Hatfield player for the racial abuse one of our players suffered through the second half, we know there is nothing you can do about it, just some drunk idiot fans......so what im trying to say is, if a ringer has been used, you should get the points no doubt. But dont label the players with the cheat tag, we are not and any footballer would have seen that on Tuesday night
