That was a right good old fashioned ding dong at Enfield by the way. A superb game of Senior League football. Two passionate, committed teams, plenty of attacking some good chances. Enfield flew out of the blocks and for 15 minutes I thought they were going to pummell the Manor, but Manor held strong after going one down and as the half wore on got stronger, smacked the bar, and had one off the line.

 

Then Enfield came out again 2nd half, could have had a penalty ref waved it away then the Manor came storming back and put them under real pressure - equalised half way throught the half and then it could have gone either way, with Manor possibly missing the best chance to knick it late on. Loads of good challenges, competitive all over the pitch but without ever getting nasty. I have to say I thought it was pretty well officiated too.

 

Brilliant game. Best entertainment I've had at a Senior League match for ages. Better than watching the Careless Cup on the tele!!

Got to say i disagree with you there FCFAN. I was falling asleep so maybe you need to get to some better matches!

Thought the officials were poor (not as poor as some of the officials in this league though) and Enfield's standard of play was way below what i expected and i didn't see the commitment either, probably because of the big FA cup game on Saturday their minds were not completely on the game.
