So,with Ashford, Cray and Margate all winning, this latest defeat leaves only Waltham Abbey and Bognor below us in the table. THIS AINT GOOD ENOUGH!! What is the point in having the second best defence in the league if it means we dont SCORE goals either?! Look at Kingstonian, they've conceded 23 goals and are still 8th because they're scoring GOALS!! We need to change our TACTICS urgently and get a better balance of ATTACK/DEFENCE cos what we have at the moment isnt working!!

5 goals in 9 games and still you dont start your top scorer!!!!!!!!

You have proven scorers at the lodge so are the forwards not delivering or are they being starved of chances as the midfield are more defensive and not supporting them.

Its good not to concede however to win games you have to SCORE

Never Been has a point...we looked better in the second half when Dormer was released to go forward...but that doesn't tell the whole story as we looked as if we lacked confiedence...Four games ago we made chances by the hatful and our strikers didn't score...now we're making fewer chances...

I don't know if this is the whole of the problem but something has to change.

And, I know I was guilty of some comments tonight ("can we pas to someone in a white shirt") but getting on the players backs isn't really helpful when things are not going well on the pitch. I fully understand the frustration but whatever the problems, lets not add to them.

I wasn't there last night, and I have said that we should give Brian time to develop the mostly new team, we did seemed to be pulling things together with some good football and scoring chances, just lacking the finishing touches, so with Flack and Bircknell arguable our best strikers why is one on the bench when we need to be scoring goals?

The most impressive thing for me last night was the coach. Well done BTFC Travel.

Okay can i just ask some questions just to get them off my chest

1, Why do we have a great crosser of the ball sitting on the bench week in week out. Last night we could have done with the wee bloke in the last 15 minutes at least

2, Why is Billy Bricknell sitting on the bench week in week out.

3, If players are scared to tackle then why play them for 90+ min

4, Are Harrow the new Tunbridge? Dive Dive Dive..

You may notice that the first two questions relate to Billericay players from last season & the third question does not.

But on a positive note barring the loose header goal i thought our defence held well when they had to and communicated during the game (unlike other parts of the pitch).

And my other positive from this game going into saturdays FA Cup tie. It can't get any worse (Can it?)

Never Been, your support of Billy is understandable, and your comments maybe justified, Billy is a good player, and a proven goal scorer, why he is not starting is a question for the manager. But your insistence that Billy IS our top scores is inaccurate.

Gazz, I agree, we do look short on confidence, and we were desperate to score, a huge effort was put in by our lads yesterday. For the last 20 we were camped in the Harrow penalty area. All we need is a little more composure and self belief.

Ryan, I think it’s a bit harsh to say only two are capable of scoring. (but I know what you mean, at times it feels like that)They are all capable...although they have not scored in the league for us yet, Baker Knight Shinn and Sullivan have all scored goals at a higher level, Dormer can score, Wareham can score, and the defenders can score. They just haven't done it for us this season, but I'm sure they will

BB, whenever we lose, and I include myself, we look to who isn't playing and question what if. The side has had many changes so far this season and I'm sure there will be more as the season progresses. You say "scared to tackle" others say "to defensive". We were at times yesterday second to the ball; maybe that’s all part of the lack of confidence.

I firmly believe we have a good side, they work hard, and don't take defeat lightly...it'll turn round.

It will be a massive help Saturday if the fans can be loud and proud.

C'mon you blues

As I said, we looked better when Dorms was released to go forward and as regards the 2nd half, the players put in a lot of effort to score but the lack of confidence was evident. And I agree, all our players can score but last night, with the exception of only a couple of occasions that I can remember, the creative ball, either didn't come or was botched because of a touch too much. Strikers (or anyone who is in a position to score) requires service and the service last night was mostly lacking. Yes we had goal mouth scrambles but no incisive ball was made. We have players that can pass the ball...last night (and perhaps because of the lack of confidence), we didn't and started to pump the ball into the channels...

On the eviedence over the pre season and early this season, I believe we have players that can do the job...but together with being a new team and the effort of "gelling" and now the pressure of not scoring and not winning games, things appear to be contriving against us...and some of our own making. We need to break the habit of losing.

As for the supporters...it's a bit like a chicken and the egg. There are those supporters who will react well however the team performs. There are those that react negatively when we don't do well. One supporter said to me last season when I challenged him over his comments to certain players "I will support them when they give me something to support". Football is a passionate sport and we all sahre in that passion (for the sport as well as the club). At present, we need the supporters to get behind the team to instil a bit of belief in the players. It's not just the managers job but it is also our job. We're supporters and frustrating as our performances are, we can be the difference...or is it that we don't believe anymore?

TC, It is irrelevant whether I support Billy or not, I think you may be mistaking me for someone else, however my point is whoever is your top scorer( and I am sure it was Billy last year) then if the team is suffering a goal drought, surely it would make sense to play the proven players, I also include Flack in this.

If lots of chances are being made and wasted then you have to change, however from reading this forum it seems you have gone very defensive which indicates your midfield are not supporting your forwards which then opens up another can of worms.

I hope your management team get it right as I have enjoyed my visits to your ground and look forward to visiting it again.

Billy has already missed a few games this season through being declared un-fit. I'm sure when he gets his chance, and he will, and if he remains focused, and fit, then he has every chance of being this seasons’ top goal scorer too.

He's a fantastic talent, with a bright future. A nice lad too

You do seem to show a lot of interest in us and our tactics considering you are not a supporter, and neither do you attend.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that, its just unusual.

I don't think many people, looking at our history at Harrow, was expecting to come away from the game with all 3 points, it's hard to comment on last night, some might say we didn't try, but for me, we were trying at times, but we didn't look good enough and came up short, and it can't carry on like that. I agree with the comments on Bricknell, we had a striker who hasn't scored a goal yet playing before a player who has scored the last 2 times he has come off the bench. And before we were actually creating chances, now it just seems that the strikers are trying to create chances on their own, and it was their height that caught us out, as with Hastings they could have scored more then 1 with their height, but the difference being Hastings didnt make their chances count. And i agree with BB, the best bit was the coach journeys, and probably the ref being hit with the ball.

As for the red card, is it possible that the ref thought he had booked the player previously so thats why he got the red, but after realising he hadn't been booked before he was allowed to stay on the pitch??

We definately need to raise our performance for Saturday.
