Deserved win tonight. Hendon had a penalty just before half time. Poor shot that Nicholls saved, but he did well to keep rebound out. Hendon took lead in second half. Garner on right side of box hit a 20-yard shot into top corner. We equalised - Wilson free-kick, their keeper didn't deal with it and Haverson stabbed it in. Then we won it at the end, West looked offside in build-up but ball went to Robinson who crossed it to Blackman who had got behind their defence and slotted past keeper. Keister played at back and we looked much more solid.

Nothing better than scoring a late winner.

Would have enjoyed seeing the celebrations from players and management alike after Blackmans goal.

They deserve some success and luck.

Way the team was set up was much better, JK played as a sweeper so Lacy and Robinson pushed on much more than they have been doing in a 442. Don't think either of them crossed the halfway line on Saturday but both got forward well at times last night. Also meant that Wilson was moved back into the centre and I thought he had a decent game, Healy was more central too - think both of them have suffered from being stuck out on the flanks. Deserved the win.

According to official report it was Sammy Cliff who put over a great cross for Blackman, great to see Terry giving him a start. Well done the lads and Terry for finding, hopefully, a formation that worked well.

I'm absolutely deighted to hear a "sweeper" role has been re- introduced after such a long time.

I, like some others could see this was a necessity with the way we have been defending at times.

Our lapses at the back were crying out for the old sweeper role.

There's no better man than Keister for the job. (Bill Edwards excepted).

John is alert, speedy (for his age) & has a brain. Most importantly he won't get shoved off the ball in a hurry.

He won't always get the tackles right & we will have to accept the odd rash or late tackle but tackle he does which is super. He also now brings a wealth of experience with him to deal with these problems. This is great news Jeff, cheers.

p.s Another thing lacking last week was width. Did we also get that last night!. Jeff,? ...anyone?
