If we owed 27k previously and just paid 15K, I make that 12k to find so not quite as much Michael. According to official site the club have shown this funding is in place to pay within 56 days.

Like Michael says we shouldn't be taking anythying for granted here & to be honest I'm a little surprised we haven't found the the whole amount for tomorrow (or even prior to tomorrow). Here's hoping for the best but am slightly concerned, though only slightly.

It will make sense to keep monies in our own bank account to accrue the interest ;)

Fingers crossed

But we are £17000 short of the amount due in what was the last chance .

Not looking great to me.

Not quite

Very odd given that we have been reputedly paying our keeper £750 a week. As usual, nothing really makes sense.

You are right, that makes no sense. Totally untrue.

Well, it looks like someone will be getting a relegation reprieve. I would imagine that's that for Hyde. I remember Fisher trying to overturn their winding up order, I think I read it has never been done.

True, it's never been done.

Re:Hyde United:

Whilst you should certainly not believe everything you read on a forum,i do wonder:

whether but for the grace of God :

(from the conf.north forum )

This is a result of what happened 18 months ago. The money went (for good reason - I don't blame Texas *for resons of libel I cannot describe the events that led tot hem pulling out - but let's say I don't blame Texas or our board other than for being naive) and we were left with a team full of contract players with no means to fulfil their two year contracts. Somwhow we got to the end of last season and the exodus began and we have set a low budget and begun to get on track. Just after this the taxman decided enough was enough, funds were raised and paid and we got an adjournment, more funds were raised, another payment - another adjournment. Just as we now have virtually all funds in place and letters to back this up pending a short delay - not acceptable and bang - there we go.

There is no question we aren't responsible for the debt. We were mismanaged for a while and have paid the price. It's just that the club has been working so hard to get back on track on just as we had almost done it, weno longer have a club.

Just gutted.

Seems they were close to resolving (same as MFC )Obviouslyone does not know the full story-but from here-there's not that big a difference maybe-and as i kept on suggesting-never assume-and nevermess with HRMC-they will only take so much !!
