Well, I am happy taking a point......(as I said before the game) ...... but we should have had the THREE, first half Hastings could have been two/three up, Walker was superb, two great saves that kept us in the game. Second half the Blues came back and gave Hastings a hard time, and yet again after the subs (Wareham & Bricknell) we scored !!!!!! that should have been it, but, seconds from the end, Hastings got the equaliser, (and by several accounts a ‘hand of God’ goal into the net), absolutely gutted.... I will take the point, but to loose two points that way seconds from the end feels like a loss..... all in all an average game still waiting for us to turn on the power!

Had a great time though, Hastings fans were friendly and welcoming and a great view of the game from the bar!!!!!

I agree, the Hastings fans were a good bunch, but it did feel like we were robbed of 3 points. It wasn't just their goal, but also the build up to it that stuck in the throat as we should of had a free kick before they got theirs. If we had been given it, and the ref was right there so I don't know how he could have missed it, we would have won. This is the third very late goal we have conceded in the league? Town man of the match? Very tough call, possibly Shinn?

We were well second best in the first half and had Walker to thank for going in at 0-0. They were a big side and they played for set pieces and the referee, who was the biggest homer since Bart's dad, was happy to oblige awarding them a succession of free kicks and giving us absolutely nothing.

We wisely changed our whole right flank at half time and the second half was much more even. It looked like we had completed a classic mugging when Bill scored but then of course the referee failed to spot Olurunda's volleyball. He told our lads he didn't see it - I just don't get that. 96th minute of the 94 - what the **** was he watching then? Absolutely unbelievable.

I do think it's a bit rich for some of the Hastings fans to start calling Billy a cheat when their lad's punched one in!

At half time I would have been delighted with a draw, it's still a decent result but it almost feels like a loss again. We need to win some games though and with games Tuesday and Saturday (and maybe a replay after that) I would definitely look to make some changes on Tuesday as we looked very lethargic yesterday.

8 games gone now and just 8 points. Apart from dartford it's tight, but we do need to do better.

Come on you Blues!!

I don't think I have seen a worst ref in a long time! I know people could say that you can't blame the ref, but in my eyes, the ref was the only person to blame for not going away with 3 points, not only should we have had a free-kick before the one they scored from, but their guy punched the ball into the net and not the ref or the linesman saw it?!?!?

Having said that, a draw probably was a fair result, with them being the better side in the first half, but I thought we were the better side in the second half, Wareham again made a difference when he came on, good to see Billy get another goal too. We do need to start winning though, and soon.

Even we'd beat the Spanners!

Opening half was the worst 45 minutes of the season so far IMO, created just a solitary chance and could have gone in at HT out of the game. Second half was better with the introduction of Pond and Wareham. Just when we thought we'd executed the perfect mugging up steps up one of the Harlem Globetrotters finest! I'd like to see Pond in for Sullivan with Wareham and Bricknell starting Tuesday. We desperatly need a win from somewhere, time to get a result at Harrow!
