Another excellent result on the road.

 

Sodding Burnham - my weak link today in an otherwise successful six-fold bet.

 

Concord Rangers recorded a very credible 1-0 win at Dave Anderson's Northwood today and should not be underestimated ahead of the cup game next week.

A good result particularly as I didn't think we played that well. Soham caused us more problems than I thought they would or should have done. Craig O'Connor definitely seems to give us a bit of a spark up front and I thought Edwards and Murphy were excellent at the back. 9 games played this season - 6 wins, 2 draws and just the 1 defeat. All of a sudden being a Rebel is fun again!

the ground is a credit to all and they are still making good some areas around the ground...wish them well

 

Slough played a good game today really , very hot for both teams and the defence held strong today.

 

and in the second half contain most of what Soham could musta...and ran out clear winners in the end..with the vital 3 points

It wasn't too pretty, but we did what we needed to do and were always the better side. I felt we could have stepped it up a couple of gears if need be. The early goal settled us and whilst Soham did look quite lively in the first half, threatened little and we looked comfortable after the second goal.

 

Everyone put in a good shift but I was most impressed with Murphy, Edwards and Martin today.

 

The only sour point is the injury to Sealey - looked like a dislocated shoulder from a fairly innocuous-looking collision with their left-back. He left the ground still in his kit, with a makeshift sling, meaning both our wingers are out for a few weeks. I hear Chris Herron will be back next weekend though.

Agree with Matt. Never really got out of third gear and if we needed to step up a couple of gears we could have. The sign of a decent side, which we have.

 

For me Murphy was man of the match closely followed by Keano and Graham Edwards. Only worrying thing as other have said is will we have any fit wingers for next week??

I didn't see the game yesterday,could you please tell me who played up front and on the right wing,as I can't make out whether Craig O'Connor or Eliott Buchanan was up front or one of them was on the wing.Which one?
