for those we have not been able to text, an update on Shannon. the op was a lot longer than expected due to te sever nature of the curve in her spine. she went down at around 10am and didn't get to ICU unitl 8pm. the surgeon looked knackered when we saw him but he said it all went well. We have been into ICU this morning and Shannon is now breathing for herself and the pain relief is being reduced so things are looking OK. she has opened her eyes and we are hoping that she will be on Sky Ward later this afternoon. Thanks for all your prayers and best wishes. Steve & Lesley

Yep, she has stunned the quacks!!! She was on the ward on Wednesday and they planned to get her out of bed on Fri. No chance, she was out on Thursday and spent an hour in a chair! the doc's jaw nearly hit the floor when he saw her. She was out about 3 times yesterday and Lesley has got them to do their x-ray today so there is a chance she may even come home tomorrow!!!!! so much for 2 weeks in hospital!!! :zwinkerzwinker:
