Its an absolute disgrace. Ref found 10 miniutes of extra time to allow them to score now we have extra time plus poss penalties. It was in our hands and fans up there doin their nut!!! We have been robbed unless we can find the goal in extra time!!! AAAAGGGHHHHHH!!!!

all finished sutton scored in 2nd period of extra time 3-2 boys did well tho, am proud of them - battling against 12 men on that pitch as the ref was obviously from sutton!!!!!

Being at the game on Tuesday I was absolutely gutted for the Margate players who gave it everything.

 

Not being at the Margate end when the winning goal was scored I am not in a position to comment on the alleged handball but I was quite close to an incident that, as I recall, led up to the goal ie the Sutton free kick taken from the left side of the pitch.

 

From what I remember, and I was quite positive at the time, a Sutton player ran straight into the back of a Margate player and both players went to the ground. To my surprise (or perhaps I should have better knowledge of the Rule Book) the referee then gave the free kick to Sutton who as a result scored the disputed goal.

 

I think I would be a bit disappointed if someone drove into the back of my car and I was penalised but that was how it looked to me.

 

Can anyone please enlighten me?
