FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round

Somewhere on the south coast

Weymouth away would be a good day out with half a chance of progression. Not sure if they fall within our geographical area at this stage of the draw.

From a selfish point of view, one of the teams in the Bristol area would be good as I'm on a Stag Weekend down there when the next round is due to be played.

I'm happy with that draw should we get through. A home tie against same level opposition means we have a good chance of getting through to the next round and banking £4,500 along the way. Won't be a money spinner in terms of attendance though!

Of course it won't be easy but being at home against a mid-table side in the Ryman Division 1 North, we 'should' progress. There are plenty of more difficult ties we could have got, I think everyone has to be happy with that. But let's not count our chickens yet!

You might be pleasantly surprised as to how many we take away if we both win our replays this week.... You lot still at Beaconsfield?

Yes we play at Beaconsfield SYCOB, what team do you follow Coup? With Romford and Concord's average league gate both just about 100, I really can't see either bringing that many.

This is true, but for some reason around 50% go to away games too..However, this is all irrelevant so will continue this discussion on Wednesday morning - if the Gods have been kind to us...

PS: Romford... all Concord fans, coming from Canvey, are akin to Midwich Cuckoos and find typing somewhat difficult.. :)
