The FA's site is having problems at the momment so limited info about the cup - only other local one I picked up on was Uxbridge 4-3 Ash.

See it shows a gate of 395 - did not feel that many but I suppose there was as many of us as them, not that they will travel with many on Tuesday.

 

There was one local team who played with only 59 watching - I shall not name them as that is a trully shamefull crowd considering this is the FA Cup.

You should not be asking questions of Slough fans, but the question should be of your own so called fans, as there seems to be a major problem with their motivation to support their team. If they cant get motivated for the FA cup you have big problems.

 

Being generous, if half the crowd was from Windsor (its known that the hard core of Woody, Mrs Cat et al travel) Thamesmead have an even bigger problem.

 

And on the issue of poor attendance Burnham had 113.

Look be happy you have been winning games, you have got a good team together, things seem to be looking up long term, I honestly hope you get back to the four figure crowds of 1,000-1500 you enjoyed in the eighties/nineties. Regarding attendances do your very best next time to avoide the sniping yes. Good luck for the replay tuesday lol

No - I am disgusted that the average for the zamaretto teams (midland, south and west and premier) was 243!

 

Is this all the FA Cup warrents? The cup where all levels play in one competition and you have the chance to play against teams like Walsall and make the dream come true!

 

What the FA cup means to me is summed up when it comes to the 3rd round draw and you see how many from our level are still in it and draw one of the big boys - looking for the big upset - even if it was W&E I would still be rooting for them!

 

That is why yesterdays gates were so disappointing.

SR- The casual fan could not give a toss about FA Cup 2nd Q!! It's laughable you think they should. Until sides get into the 4thQ i'd highly doubt most sides would get 'new' fans. It's almost sweet that you still think the FA cup is a big deal but now with TV being so aimed at the leauge and Champions Leauge the FA Cup is the 3rd 'biggest' trohpy in England and truth be told as a supporter of a championship side aswell as Windsor i'd rate the championship above the FA Cup too.

 

As for your digs about crowds it harks back to a few seasons ago and as one of your own fans said it's all you've got to boast about these days. I hope your your sake that changes soon!

I work with a lot of Farnbourgh fans and they see it as an intresting game as it is local and now windsor have marcus richardson playing for them.
