Mauritius....2 (Or should I say the useless women linesman) Southend Manor....3

Why, Why, Why do they have Women on the line. This one and the other one are both horrendous, not a gender thing, they are just petty, weak and clearly do not really understand the playing of the game!! Rant Over :attentat:

No shock to see Bethnal Bash Boys concede a penalty.....

Well done to Burnham and Basildon, both flying at the minute and to Enfield, still flying the ESL flag in the FA Cup.

Coachy must be dreading getting the vote of confidence soon ha ha

Bowers 2 Bethnal Green 0

Big win for Bowers and a great atmosphere at the ground today.

Agreed, there was a really good vibe at the stadium today, team put in a solid performance, two clean sheets on the bounce - smiles all round. I'll post the pics later :halluzinogen:

jj you should know we never press the panic button at Lower Road :492: We are still paying the price for bad pre-season planning and things will be rectified sooner than you think :232: There are still 93 points available :Italy: and if Capello has been successful in making England a better team without speaking a word of English... :tyty:

Ha Ha.....is that classed as a bite up??

re: The panic - I know that Coachy, just banter between Big local rivals. I wish you and Bridge every success as long as a) Manor beat you and B) it does'nt affect us being outdone by you.

Apart from that I wish You and Hullbridge all the best mate...I mean that

P.S Capello is ledge, he makes my England away trips more than just a glorifies booze fest - now the footy aint bad either lol

I have to say that i'm a bad loser and i really can't take defeat lightly but over the years you learn that you have to look forward and you are as good as your last game.We are not playing well, don't look sharp, players are playing catch up with their fitness, and in cases like this everything goes against you, including some refs decisions. We have to keep our heads up,trying harder and hopefully things will improve.Last year at the end of October after losing away to Clapton 3-0 and being rock bottom,on the way back home myself and Steve were thinking about getting someone in to run the side stating that we had taken them as far as we could. All week i tried to get someone in to take over but we went to Stansted and everything clicked and won 2-1.After that we went on a great run losing one game in 3 1/2 months.Football is like this, you gotta act the same in good as in bad times.Do me a favour though.... if you can take a picture of Capello smiling!!! :zwinkerzwinker: Did you know that when he stopped playing, for 10 years(1981-1991) didn't manage any team(apart few games for Milan)and he was just a commentator(good one) of English football for TELE MONTECARLO,a private tv network?A sign of destiny i think! :smilie_flagguk:

Report from TK Forum

Essex Senior League

Barking 0

v

Basildon United 1

(76)

Adm: £6

Progs: £1

Att: 53

Oh dear, an absolutely awful game. Its only redeeming feature came in the 76th minute when a linesman insisted on a penalty being given for hand ball when the ref had only given a corner. Having said that, it was a pathetic penalty kick, easily blocked by Barking's keeper but Basildon reacted quicker and converted the rebound. As for the ground, the clubhouse is boarded up & padlocked (Barking's lease on it has expired and not been renewed) and the toilets are a disgrace (out of order portaloos!) but other than that it's a decent enough venue.

The mention of Mauricio Rivera as the scorer of Mauritius Sports Association first goal against Southend Manor on Saturday 12th September 2009; is incorrect as the scorer of the Mauritius Sports first goal was Oscar Mauricio Fonnegra.
