Sutton - Can we overturn them?

We were well & truely stuffed by Sutton in the first game. Since then we have been upgrading the squad. it seems there were signs of improvement at Ashford Since then we've added a pocket rocket to midfield.Have we done enough to scrape a win?

I think we have every chance of doing more than scrape a win. Just hope the team is fired up for the magic of the cup. Get in there an stuff Sutton!

'Time to Gel' is a bit of an over used word/excuse imo; but regardless- the game may be a bit too early for us and it will probably take 2/3 games for the side to settle and indeed TY to work out what exactly is his strongest side.

 

Personally not very confident about today (the 'improvement' at Ashford was not exactly great- butmaybe just maybe secure a replay today, but my heart of hearts thinks unfortunately a 3-1 defeat.

 

That given -and it will be disappointing to exit the FA Cup agsin so early,overall- the season will be ok i believe and am confident we will finish mid table.

The arrival of JK has already created a buzz around the game so lets get noisy right from the start and give them something to play for.

I assume JK will be playing midfield, an area where we have been found wanting. Hopefully he can add some confidence there - and influence WW into producing some of the form he showed last season. If we gel quickly as a team we can perhaps shock Sutton & earn some Cup prize money for a change.

The big thing in our favour may well be Sutton being over-confident, after all a 4-0 win against a team a few short weeks ago is enough to make it seem like an easy game to the sutton players. If we can start out quick and hit hard today we could well be looking at a home win.
