Try these - Mark Foran, Alf D'Arcy, John Delaney, Jeff Bateman, Steve Bateman, Micky Droy, Bobby Hatt, Terry Angus, still not 10 though!

even amongst those eminarys still think steve can hold his head high amongst them, his main fault if you can call it that was trying to cover for the rest of the back line when they went to sleep imo

He is a top bloke, and was incredibly loyal to Slough. Stuck around when nearly everyone else jumped ship.

Agree, top bloke, and a great defender. Was one of the few STFC greats that I have seen since I started properly supporting the team in 2004 I believe. He stuck around when all was going down the toilet and 100% commitment, and that should put him amongst some of the best players we have had in recent times.

Will make the Beaconsfield derby game that bit more interesting!

You forgot the ever excellent Kieth Mead-Phil Beal ( ex Spurs ) and Stuart Cash ( Nottingham Forest ) though he only played a few games, you could see his class.

Steve's still up there with all those. Could and perhaps should have played regularly in the Conference IMO. His loyalty has been amazing considering. Even my support wavered badly these past 3 years and I'm died in the wool!

If NBH stayed with us for a couple of seasons I think he would certainly be up there but unless we get promotion I think he will be off to better things.
